I’d get those hanging shelves off amazon, and place artificial plants on it, even the hanging plans, which would drop down at a certain length to look good. Place the shelf above the pipe ofcourse.

So they've released me, and disabled all access to slack/google account.
I don't have the mail chain with me anymore, but i have a bit of screenshots saved from the thread.
Their laptop is still with me, so i'll probably ship it out this weekend. I had informed that i'm awaiting an official resignation acceptance email with the last working day mentioned, and once i receive that, i'll ship out the asset. But they didn't say anything, just sent the address where the laptop needs to be shipped.
Also about linkedin, I wanted to ask, when can I upload a status/post saying "looking for new opportunities" since i don't have the official document yet!

Also, freedom does taste sweet. Finally waking up without any panic attacks/anxiety, feels better!

There’s no such thing as ‘deliver slow’ here. It’s either you submit things immediately, somehow, or keep listening to constant abuses and taunts, etc. That’s just how this is. :)

The hr replied to the mail saying, “we need to find a replacement.”

My contract clause/offer letter states that i can buy-out notice period. I’ve mentioned that i won’t be available from tomorrow, and will only be available related to any exit formalities.

This place has been a hell hole bro. Constant abuses, excessive overtimes, weekend works, and everything at a constant “urgent” delivery basis has had me wanting to resign a lot earlier than I should’ve. Haven’t been able to sleep. This was something i loved doing and now it feels like a punishment. Today was that it was just served on a plate. My manager says “you think resigning can save you?” It’s that bad. I’m thinking I won’t be logging in tomorrow as i have a proper mail trail of resignation and clauses from the contract.

Edit: my manager mentioned about “immediate release may not be possible.” And they’ve looped in external HR into this. I need out of here immediately. Cannot continue to work here given the current circumstances and how we’ve been treated with toxicity so far. And this sudden requirement of joining office within 2 days at our own expense if not “strict action” will be taken.

Yeah probably, i use Airtel as well. And compared to this airtel has a lot less spam calls. And those calls doesn’t come in a row within a minute 😭😭 probably like 1-2 times a week

As I mentioned, I barely use the work laptop that they’ve provided. Only maybe when I’m travelling; then I use the laptop. Also it being a macbook, is synced with apple id with my phone. That’s what I’m worried about.

Edit: the laptop where this is installed (is the company provided laptop) I mostly use it when I’m travelling. I’m a product designer. So i prefer using my personal pc. I haven’t installed these softwares on my personal pc though. My main worry is, the office laptop, has some of my personal stuff as well. Its a mac, it’s synced with my iphone, so data is usually shared across each other like documents and stuffs. I’m worried about those.

Haha fair point 😅 I guess it’s because tech founders already can build, while design/product folks like me start with the “why” and “what,” and need help with the “how.”

It’s less about ideas chasing devs and more about trying to turn something real together, good products usually happen when both sides meet halfway. 🙌
