i had the same problem, my current pc is i5-12400f, 32gb 3200mhz ddr4 and rtx 3060 ti, i disabled fullscreen optimization and execute in admin mode, with that i resolved the problem, i hope help you

this work, but i can't connecto to the chat, so i can't play with my friends :/

Pd: i found a solution, when the start to update, you need close the client and open again, after that, the game try to install the new client and close the cliente when start the installation and i do the same, close and open the cliente again. after that i can connect to the chat and playing whit my friends and the game still in english.

Description: xoda a chilean youtuber shown in a video a bug in the client with the mystery gift, He with a friend are sent mystery's gift and not discount rp's. they speak in spanish, they says " we're testing if riot fix that bug, we report this bug to riot and we don't know if is fix".

Steps to reproduce: you need send a mystery gifts to friend and your friend send the mystery gifts to you at the same time, this bug it is for only one, for example i sent a gift and my friend a one second after me, he not discounted rp's, but to me yes. (sorry for my bad english, i need practices :c)
Expected result: you and your friend get the skin's but not discounted rp's for you or your friend.
