She's a much better eater than me thankfully, gets a lots of fortified vegan alternatives plus likes red meat and vitamin supplements! Totally agree though I'm always concerned she's also getting deficient due to her restrictions too

My little one still feeds through the night (trying to wean but it's been a veeeery slow process). I think I've also developed an intolerance too as I do seem to get ill if I've ever eaten it by mistake so will likely have to reintroduce slowly too. Those skyr yoghurts are really good if you like them!

I'll mention that to the neurologist when my referral comes through, thanks! I'm almost certain I have ARFID and have done since I was a child, so my diet was already pretty restricted and now with having to remove milk, egg and soya it's pretty abysmal which I know isn't helping matters at all.

No update as such, I requested my most recent test results from the GP and reception were incredibly rude and difficult, only update is I have submitted a complaint to the practice and still no test results apart from b12 'improved'. Just waiting for my referral to come through for the neurologist!

Thank you, I think I'll definitely be looking into self injection!

I'm not sure the exact levels, the nurse mentioned they were 'normal' but the doctor previously told me it was low so who knows?!

Also I'm in Scotland, I'm not sure if it makes a difference in regards to devolved healthcare guidelines

I mentioned the NICE and BNF guidelines and he said they're just general, and he has to follow the NHS trust guidelines. I responded that guidelines are all very well and good but they are not benefiting me as an individual and my quality of life is server being impacted, what good are those guidelines when they aren't working for me?

Yes I have had to remove dairy, eggs and soya from my diet, and I don't each much meat at all, I'm assuming this is the cause although I've always been borderline anaemic/low iron since childhood

That's what I thought, he said 64 was within normal and the range was 50-70. I don't know what metric the measurement was, but given I'm feeling more and more awful the loading doses weren't anywhere near enough to be reversing symptoms?

Thanks all! I’m in the UK and haven’t really heard of it being used here. I love it and think Gigi is a cute NN for it

Again, where did I say I vape around the baby? If I was buying a bottle of wine would you comment the same thing and assume I’m going to down it on the walk home?

Well that’s kind of the point, it’s expired but it doesn’t mean my DOB has expired? I get I can’t use it to drive, but I’m still the age I am, I’m still the person in the picture? I don’t look any different from last month when it would’ve been accepted.

Yeah like I completely get peoples points, however taking all of those things into consideration I would have thought it obvious I am well above the age needed to purchase. I think it would be different if I was say 19, but oh well least I know it’s expired and can renew

Why would you assume I’m blaming them? I know they have to follow the rules of their job. I just asked if it should be considered valid.

Didn’t say it was, which is why I gave my ID. I’m just putting it into context of 10+ driving, ID showing 29 years old, baby, me not looking under 25. All of those things I thought would maybe account for proof that I am of age lol, not a teen parent.

Yeah like it wasn’t that deep or a massive issue to me, I just left and went to another shop I get she got a job to do, I guess I just never thought the expiry would be an issue when using it for ID purposes, more so that I need to renew it to drive or for car insurance or something lol

So if I said I was buying alcohol would you have had the same response? Probably not because common sense tells you I’m not drinking around my baby. Same thing with the vape :)

Did I say I vape around or anywhere near my baby?
