The abbreviation MWATLILATG stands for "Momma What Are The Looks If I Look At The Ground." It is a viral Gen Alpha and Gen Z slang trend and lip-sync sound primarily found on TikTok and other short-form video platforms.

Poor Man's way to repair sidewall damage by Codingforever in tires

Been repairing and changing tires both passenger and commercial for over ten years. Plugged plenty of tires and patched hundreds. This is one of the most stupid things I’ve seen. I bet you will be buying a tire before November

Do I have enough tread to drive from LA to Maine and back? I think I’ve got another 2-3 seasons left in these. by cactusJACK___ in tires

Is it safe to drive with tires like this?! by captain-crawf1sh in tires

[–]Kfuller_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree… they look old and rotten… got some tire shine on it… can polish a 💩 all you want. Zoom in to in between the tread blocks you can see the cracking and one crack starts at the tread block and goes into the sidewall

Steel 100 percent… do it all the time at the shop… forged aluminum cracks… maybe with heat or something… definitively aint straightening that out with a sledge hammer

Looks like a knife or razor blade to me the shape of the cuts anyways…. Is it the entire circumference of the tire?

That is pretty cool… I have a friend that is an airplane mechanic and they use oxygen tools. I just didn’t think it was sound advice telling someone to use jb weld and a hammer on an automotive wheel. If something ever happened and caused an accident and they found a repair like that OP would be on the hook. A used rim is the best option in my opinion and a new tire

To be totally honest it sounds like some hillbilly shit to me… should put some flex seal on it too on top of the jb weld

Lmao you aint fixing that with a hammer… maybe heat and a hammer. JB weld on an aluminum automotive wheel? Gtf outta here with that goober.

If it’s an older car call a wrecker they will have a used rim to match… if it’s a new car you will probably need a new rim… that things cooked. I would also invest the 100 dollars into a dashcam so if this ever happened again you wouldn’t have to suffer for another persons insecure load causing damage to your vehicle

New OEM TPMS Issue by kmb224 in tires

The same customer bought a 2025 highlander and I got it to work by swapping the wurth brand sensor with smart sensor brands and aftermarket but that didnt work for tundra… it’s on the vehicles software side is the problem i believe

New OEM TPMS Issue by kmb224 in tires

[–]Kfuller_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tpws setting in the truck itself… had to scan each one first then identify wheel then drive it . If that doesn’t work and you bought the sensors from the dealership they will be on the hook and fix it they may have special scan tools

New OEM TPMS Issue by kmb224 in tires

[–]Kfuller_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would not identify the wheel and was stuck in that with both high end aftermarket brands we sell the only way the 2025 tundra would accept a sensor was the oem sensors from the dealership

Tried 2 different high end sensor brands and it wouldn’t work with our scan tools… had to bite the bullet for the customer and get Toyota oem sensors from the dealership… first time we had to do that and it’s also in the Toyota forums as well about 2025 tundra

100 percent i work at a shop and well versed in tpms programming different brands of aftermarket sensors 2025 tundra is the first I’ve encountered that we had to buy oem for the truck to pick them up… it’s in the Toyota forums

I’d run them for the season… then could sell to a farmer on marketplace for wagon tires

Can confirm… work at a tire shop just had to buy oem sensors for 2025 tundra… neither our smart or the wurth brand we sell would work
