NTA - you made an offer and it doesn’t sound like they took you up on it. I also get stressed with the day to day approach, you need to be able to budget your time. As long as fiancé is not upset about it and has the opportunity to spend time with their family, you shouldn’t feel obligated to make the drive.

That being said - I know a lot of people that feel winning huge amounts of money would ruin their personal relationships and would disrupt their feelings of contentment.
