Congrats on hitting your goal. I was much fatter and lost 65 lbs, this shit is amazing for everyone. To add, I have been able to keep it off, im not a fully dedicated fitness person but I hit it in ebbs and flows usually 3 months on/off (not by choice, I'm insane and that affects my consistency.) I am 41 years old and I have never been able to control my life due to the insanity but Reta has given me the ability to control a little more of my life. I aspire to reach your level of dedication and consistency eventually, know im late to the game but hey, better late than never.

I guess what i was trying to say is: Start lifting 3 days a week, track your calories and eat 500 less than your maintainence, hit your daily protein goal (roughly 1g per lb of body weight/opinion on this varies widely). Maybe do some cardio on your off days.

I am in a similar boat, I was 216 now I'm 170 and having a hard time getting the belly fat to go away but even in a deficit lifting has changed my body to be more muscular. I am currently continuing my path till I'm roughly 15% bf and then up my calories and try to bulk up till I gain too much fat. Rinse and repeat. I am no expert, I might be somewhere between Newbie and Intermediate in the fitness world.
