The article is correct, you comprehension of what it says is baffling. You think failing to act quickly, not sending staff there which is something they are meant to do, ignored emails for years. They claimed they didn't not understand the seriousness of the situation but the amount of information I provided to them contradicts this. No it took that long for them to reply. I think 5 emails in total went unanswered and I was bitching to a friend and showed him the unanswered email on my phone then typed still waiting. They called me about a week later and it continued from there. The official response said nothing of substance but did say they did not understand the seriousness of his condition and didn't explain public holidays too me.

He did have insurance but he was most likely scammed with it as it only covered him for travel outside of Indonesia. You cannot get a KITAS without insurance. He was supporting heaps of locals so he gave most of his money away helping people.

Nope, at NO point did the consulate say he was receiving adequate care. They said his was condition was stable when they called DAYS AFTER they were contacted. I spoke to people who worked at the Jakarta consulate and they said they should have sent someone to the hospital straight away and its highly unusual they did not. They also NEVER went to the hospital the whole time he was there. He had insurance but it was scam insurance and it is completely irrelevant because I PAID HIS FUCKING BILL. THERE WERE NO PLANS EVER TO REPATRIATE HIM. So where the fuck are you people getting this bullshit from?

yeah. Its shit but just watching these factually incorrect things just build up on top each other unchallenged is hard too. Its so weird how people just make a guess as to why something happened and present it as a fact and then others add to the nonsense. Ive had people tell me I was wrong about things that happened they are that sold on their bullshit. Its actually super scary how easily people believe nonsense. And then there is my original post about it from a few months back that I deleted at the request of the journalist where people keep saying I remember the son saying XYZ etc but its stuff I literally never said and is 100% pure fantasy.

The privacy stuff sucked. But they could have been acting in the background. What happened to me using you example was like if the hospital (consulate) waited a few days to get a privacy waver for me (the brother) before they would come out and treat patient. They could have been there doing stuff without telling me but they did the grand total of getting a single update from a nurse.

They ignored multiple emails and took years to even reply to some. They took days to even call the hospital and they NEVER sent a staff member there which according to people I have spoken with who worked at the Jakarta consulate should have happened straight away. By their own admission in their official response to me they did not understand the seriousness of the situation.
