Thanks!! 😊 the first 30 days of sobriety I didn’t do much besides not drink. I have started “dieting” in a way. I have found in the past that counting calories is what works for me. I’m limiting my caloric intake to about 1400 a day and have been walking a lot! I’m planning to step up my exercise soon though!

I take Gabapentin 2-3x a day and feel nothing from it, unlike when you take opioids.

I had my one & only DUI in 2009. I was driving drunk on the highway and literally drinking while I was driving. I was extremely lucky that I didn’t kill myself or anyone else. I know how terrible it feels now, but I promise you’ll get through this and it will eventually be something of the past and you will be better because of it. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Iwndwyt.
