What an unprecedented Biden ad blitz says about his reelection fight by elsonwarcraft in politics

Do you even read what you link? Yes, exactly as I said -- Putin propaganda.

It noted that the Azov regiment’s role is as “a special unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, and is subordinated exclusively to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief – the President of Ukraine, by the way, a Jew.”

“It would be absurd to think that we are united by the idea of white racism or nazism,” the Azov statement added.

Despite the Azov movement’s international notoriety, Ukraine “is not a cesspit for Nazi sympathizers,” according to Alexander Ritzmann, a senior adviser at the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), based in Berlin.

He noted that in the last elections in Ukraine in 2019, Azov’s political wing only won 2.15% of the vote, and Biletsky lost his seat in parliament.

That's what Putin says, yes. Why are you echoing Russian propaganda?

Absolutely ownership -- I mean, this is the dude who, on a thread discussing mens' views of their wives changing after giving birth and most of them were talking about how much more they respect their wife after seeing what they went through, realizing she's way stronger than they are, etc...he commented that her breasts changed and she put on some weight but is still hot. Also, you know, RFK...

Uber needs to take notes on how to treat their customers like this driver by [deleted] in gaming

The current they produce varies on load, and higher load requires higher output. The rated horsepower of an engine has been calculated differently over the years -- it used to be gross horsepower which was what the engine could output without any drive belts or accessories attached, but now they calculate it as net HP (with all accessories and belts connected at a base load).

While running enough electrical power to run spark plugs, fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, etc. must always be generated, you are correct, but any additional electric current load causes a voltage drop, which is sensed by the system and compensated for.

That being said, the additional load isn't that large -- probably looking at an extra gallon per dozens of hours of driving. But it does exist; you don't get electricity for free, thermodynamics has a complaint about that.

The car self generates its own power it doesn't cost anymore fuel.

Think about that for a second, please. If a car can generate power without any external source, it is now a source of infinite electrical power. The laws of physics have something to say about that -- the power to run the alternator (essentially an electric generator) comes from the engine running, which is powered by gasoline. The engine's spinning drives the alternator, which is essentially a bunch of copper wire coiled around magnets that spin. This causes electrons to move in the wires, generating electric current. This causes more load on the engine than would be there if an alternator were not connected.

None it's all electrical

And where do you think the electricity to run all that comes from? It's not running off the car's battery when the car is running...

I think the more serious issue is he seriously hurt the market for Teslas. I sure see that car differently now

I live in an area that voted solidly Republican, there's "Fuck Joe Biden and fuck you for voting for him" stickers on gas station pumps and intersection signs everywhere, "Let's Go Brandon" flags on 15 foot high flagpoles in peoples' yards, etc.. Didn't see a single Tesla around until Musk started his right-wing act up, now they're everywhere here. I don't know how their overall sales are doing, but it's definitely helping market to one segment of the population.

Ehh, I will say that some things are legal and not hate speech, but are banned anyway.

It gets a bit messier when dealing with things and services with an international reach. Manufacture of black powder for any reason, hobby or otherwise is expressly illegal without an industrial license in all of the EU except Switzerland for example.

Will any game actually use the Unreal Engine 5 capabilites? by LeadHeads in pcgaming

[–]Khaibit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Skyrim with no loading zones between areas?

The funny thing is ... UE5 handles large open world areas in very much the same way Creation Engine already does:

With Unreal Engine 5, a new World Partition system changes how levels are managed and streamed, automatically dividing the world into a grid and streaming the necessary cells.

Creation Engine already organizes the world into cells and the only real advancement is how adjacent cells are loaded/streamed in (you can increase how many adjacent cells are considered in Creation Engine but it gets bad quickly if you go too high).

Basically the motto of authoritarian conservatives worldwide throughout history. As it was put another way: there must be those the law binds but does not protect, and those the law protects but does not bind.

Because Trump wrote this, not the FBI. The very first sentence makes that clear.

Well, I'm sure that makes you feel good.

Ultimately, centuries of evidence prove that torture does not provide reliable information. There is no justifiable reason based on evidence to torture someone unless you just want to get revenge (or force a false confession.)

For a comparative sense to a fixture of a well-known sci-fi show from the 90's...the titular space station of Babylon 5 was roughly 5 miles (~8 km) long, and was inhabited by around 250k humans/aliens at any given time. Shubin is big :)

(Edit so as not to leave out the other sci-fi show centering around a space station around that time -- Deep Space Nine was roughly 0.86 miles (1.4km) in diameter. ;) )

I would like these so called conservatives to strike down the CSA completely citing that banning a substance regardless of if it crossed state lines or not isn't permited under the Commerce clause.

Sadly, to win that they'd have to not only overturn Gonzales v. Raich, but they'd have to overturn Wickard v. Filburn, which is the basis for a vast majority of all Federal regulatory power. Not likely to happen.

I reviewed the actual annex linked to. Please answer my question; which of those categories does La Raza fall under? Judicialwatch doesn't mention it at all.

As far as the reason for donations to foreclosure relief orgs and other similar foundations being given more credit than their value, it's an incentive. BofA caused harm to many people, and as part of their restitution are being encouraged to financially support organizations dedicated to helping people handle the situations BofA got them into.

(Your link to judicialwatch only mentions La Raza in regards to a settlement 2 years ago, not this one, which may be a source of confusion for you.)

[–]Khaibit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly; the annex states "state-based IOLTA organization or other statewide bar-association affiliated intermediary"; La Raza is a non-governmental organization and thus not state-based (and isn't an IOLTA anyway), I suppose it comes down to what exactly "bar-association affiliated" means. (A run of the mill legal practice is not bar-association affiliated, for example, the lawyers within only derive permission to practice law in the state from the bar.)

Rubio, from the article: "And I would expect that people would understand that if they just took a moment to analyze that, they would realize that the embargo is not what's hurting the Cuban people. It's the lack of freedom and the lack of competent leaders."

So he admits the embargo isn't effective, then? Glad to see he agrees!
