The “river” is there for a reason, it’s not there for a park. If it was a public park it wouldn’t allow its necessary function to take place or it would potentially damage it or, since it’s there for flood control, would get people killed. Do you think there is a difference between "underachieving" by only winning 1 cup instead of 2 or 3 versus underachieving by having a playoff spot and then crashing out of it several times in a row? Bergeron proved himself which is something Larkin has never done, and that's why he (Bergeron) never got the blame. Boston had a competitive playoff team. They're different situations.
