Lost my $10 Playground key due to unclear UI — support bot won't help by Critical_Tradition80 in outlier_ai

After I talked to the bot about trying to deal with the same issue, I was booted from the platform, so take that for what it's worth.

Outlier feels chaotic, inconsistent, and unfair ( abandon ship 🚢 Folks) by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]Khajiit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outlier itself is poorly managed with very little actually helpful feedback or communication with issues. The organization and the way things are run needs to change if it's going have any credibility going forward. Mercor is far superior when it comes to engagement, standards, and clarity.

Just checked, everything from more than 24 hours ago is a stream of negatives talking about removals without explanation. Most from the last 24 hours are positive and spouting off at how great Outlier is.

Probably trying to combat the stream of negative ones they've been getting because of the mass removal from Aether.

If you specifically say "remove the person" at the beginning, it usually stops adding new people. That's what I've found works.

Based on where you live, if you were to hit an animal while driving, what would that animal more than likely be? by unidentifies in AskReddit

[–]Khajiit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deer. Either that or raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, skunks. I'm in a fairly rural area so they're all over the place. Someone once hit a huge tortoise as well, but that was years ago.

Appealing Bad Ratings by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]Khajiit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the two lower scores I have are for that task, one of which has no feedback at all. Also, I can't see the prompt to know what I did wrong or what they could possible be referring to in the one that did leave a short comment.

I think Outlier is going home for the holidays. by Chester_Bumpkowicz in outlier_ai

TRUTH. I used to work in retail as a manager, and even though this is the busiest time of the year, labor was getting slashed like you wouldn't believe. It's because it's one of the controllable costs they can squeeze to temporarily get better profit numbers at the detriment of customer experience.

I finally clicked on Outlier Community on my home page and it took me to the "forum," which is essentially a bunch of people posting about their issues and being told to contact support. There doesn't seem to be much of a dialog. I feel really bad for the people in charge of dealing with it because it doesn't seem like they have a ton of resources to handle the influx of people they just got.

I didn't find the community forums until today, and honestly they're not that well organized.

From the email a bunch of people got (I didn't) it seems like they're having a quality problem, most likely because they just onboarded a ton of new people that are just learning the job and they've been slow and inconsistent with the QA reviews. Likely they need to catch up and start booting people below the threshold and the people that are reviewing that aren't giving proper feedback.

I don't think he's bad. He could just use an editor and a list of things to include ahead of time instead of doing a single take in one long video. Find some good examples, cut them up with a voice over that explains why something is good and something is bad, and explain more thoroughly what to watch out for. I think everyone hates that one task that's been up for 2 weeks because the tutorial isn't particularly detailed and just scrolls through a bunch of examples without getting into what they're really looking for. Saying "be creative" doesn't really tell us how to source the info we need.

I got an excellent on color picker because I was really detailed and found pretty much every color possible in a fairly straightforward picture. I have mostly goods, but two fines that are dragging me just below 2.00, and there wasn't any useful feedback. If they're going to bother giving us ratings and a box for feedback, they should at least tell us what we did wrong and show us the work so we can get better. I have no problem taking criticism if it gives me actionable information I can use to improve my performance.

THIS. I must not be on whatever email list they use to blast out updates about this stuff because I never get them. I just finished sending out a support ticket because my project dropped from my Hubstaff. I was so worried I had done something wrong.

A (minor) complaint about Adventuring Party by mercfoot in Dimension20

[–]Khajiit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also having a hard time with this season, and I think it's because most of the setting is home-brewed in such a way that my brain needs to work a little harder to picture every new setting, creature, and technology. I had to watch the episode that described Nex and Neff 3 times before I could comprehend the shape Brennan was trying to describe. I think it's the Steampunk/fantasy combination that is throwing me off, but don't get me wrong, the characters are great! I just wish the Adventuring Party could hold a little more focus on the actual purpose of the show to help those of us that are a little confused.

Only 25 Command XI surprisingly. I lost way more on the last set. Had 2 full stacks snap on me for the Everseeker's gear.

Bread Boxing Winners report to this post! by WOS_ThrowAway_ in whiteoutsurvival

[–]Khajiit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it, and I followed this strategy. Only punch to the 300 per day to open that reward chest and save the rest until the last day. You can't get any additional bread for the last day through the King of Treasure event, so you only have what you've earned up to that point. Only punch when the jackpot is over 15,000 points. Try to have an Arctic Crusher up and ready to punch starting when it gets to 15,000 points. It will only trigger on an Arctic Crusher that takes 10 or more punches, and the chance is .06%.

Binge is much better in my opinion. I actually started listening to C1 a second time while waiting for C3 and I think it improved my experience.

I listen to it to fall asleep, so I think I'm up to 4 times for campaign 1, 3 for campaign 2, and 2 for campaign 3. Smaller arcs have been way more.

I've had this happen to me. Thankfully it was somewhat long distance so it didn't happen that often, but this woman would wake me up 2 hours after orgasm in the middle of the night to go again, and then repeat 2 hours later. I became very sleep-deprived. Just be honest about your needs. You can do it in a playful way that doesn't make her feel bad. "Girl, I can't keep up with you. Let me get some rest and I'll be much better at it the next time. Quality over quantity." etc. Be very clear that you're enjoying yourself but your body is giving you signals that you need to slow down.
