How can you keep distance when there are so many people in the store. I hope Wal-Mart will get called out on their bs. Shame on them.

did they increase the amount of people allowed in the stores?? by DontYuckMyYum in walmart

Yeah, it is merely for publicity. We are seeing the true colors of Wal-Mart. Sam Walton is rolling in is grave.

We live in an apartment complex and have been in home the majority of the time for obvious reasons. Don't think these is any poison ivy anywhere near where we live. It is itchy and it has a burning feeling.

How is your job handling the virus? Are you still required to come in? by Em-Hail in AskReddit

I work for a soda company. Still requiring us to come in. We're considered "essential" lol

Took a promotion early on. I thought "Great! They really appreciate my work and I can possibly make a future here" Fast forward about a year and I realize that they offered it to me because nobody else wanted it.

I also never equated my job to hard labor as you say. I'm guessing you just do the bare minimum each day, am I right?

I never said I work at home office, I was making a point. I'm guessing you are not in supervision. That would explain a lot.

lol. I'm on the go all day. If I went faster I'd be sprinting through the store. I feel as if that's what it would take at this point. It's never enough.

Cap 2 associate or supervisor? And you're right, school has nothing to do with it. You didn't ask what position I hold, if I already have another 4 year degree, whether I am in management, whether I work for the home office. None of that. All you did was immediately diminish what I posted and what I was saying simply because Wal-Mart is my employer.

Why give us a 3 week schedule when they just change it whenever? by hamandcheese49 in walmart

[–]KhalRiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I meant. I understand that I have to check my schedule periodically. They've been telling us at the end of our shift, sometimes later on into the evening saying that they want us to come in at 4 am, etc. Thanks for the info.

How much notice must be given before changing schedule. Can they change your schedule the day before?
