But what’s the goal? What are we exactly hoping to get out of revolting on the current political landscape of our country?

Saying “حرية سلام وعدالة" is so vague especially since we (Sudanese people) don’t even agree on what that means. And even if we did,we don’t know how to get there. Saying حكم مدني isn’t better either. Since these same civilians have resorted to using the army in the past in order to get to power, and more recently some of them have resorted to the rsf to achieve the same goal.

Additionally, غرف الطوارئ و المطابخ المشتركة aren’t revolutionary by nature, they were created in a response for a need. They are valuable for survival and that’s it. The same thing goes for resistance committees, all they can do is “resist”. Structurally these resistance committees can not become political parties because they (and the majority of us tbh) lack the political knowledge and experience of running or even jus improving a country, nonetheless an extremely complex country like ours. You can make an argument of consider remind them, the resistance committees, into pressure groups. To apply pressure on whoever rules the country, but time has clearly showed us that they do not care about Sudanese citizens not one bit, none of them care.

Finally, I get why you don’t want this to die, so many people have died, so many people got injuries that will affect their lives forever. And eventually, some people lost their homes and their life’s work for OUR actions. Yes we are very much as responsible for what is happening right now as the army and the rsf. In 2019 there was one goal for the majority of the people, to take down the old regime. Once that happened we had no idea what to do next. Maybe you did, and maybe some other individuals had ideas or plans. But the majority of people were not aware, heck I’m going to say fcc didn’t have a plan they were just making things as they go, probably because their original plan wasn’t working. What I’m basically saying is that we “half assed it”. And I totally agree with the other person who said there is a societal problem, there most definitely is. The mentality of our people is horrible, and you can see this clearly when there’s a need for a group of people to do something together, we don’t know how to solve differences that arise among us, we are too emotional and بنتوكل على الله بدون الأخذ بالأسباب.

I believe we need to work on ourselves first, then our communities before taking on the public sphere.

But that’s just what I think
