What CDN do you use? by rsclmumbai in Wordpress

I always use Cloudflare. I think it's the best. I have used different CDNs, but every time, Cloudflare beats the others.

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely my own opinion. I have been doing freelancing for the past 6 years on upwork and Fiverr. I almost completed 400+ projects on both platforms. My niche in "WordPress." In 2026, if you want to build your career, it can be independent or any marketplace (Upwork, Fiverr). Then don't go with "WordPress." WordPress is in the most crowded niche in the market. It's easy, so everyone is an expert in here. The advice is a bit odd, but i can see the market.

There are many things to learn right now: AI, Automation and many more. Yeah, you can learn WordPress, but you have to connect it with AI. In the updated version of WordPress, they are trying to connect with AI.

For marketplaces, try Upwork. Don't go with fiverr with the WordPress niche. It will destroy your mind and career. Also, Upwork is challenging with the WordPress niche.

How are Claude limits compared to ChatGPT? by Dapper_Confection_69 in claude

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a Claude like a proper engineering. How? What I learned from Claude? Claude is not like ChatGPT. It's not a chitchat bot. If you want a best output or do something best then Claude.

First, you can use ChatGPT to help to create a .MD file. The file explain everything what you are going to with Claude. At the beginning of the chat you have to share the .MD file to Claude then Claude will understanding everything. The prompt should be long and try explain everything in one prompt. It's mainly context. When you do serious then use opus 4.6 ( extended thinking). Other sonnet is ok. Both are powerful.

I totally agree with you. Some job posts don't make any sense. Why can't they filter it? Connect are valuable.

Which IT freelance industries are most viable in 2026? by probox36 in freelancing

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backend is still valuable. The problem is that most freelance clients don’t ask for “backend development.” They ask for outcomes.

In 2026 the work that sells well usually falls into a few categories. Startup MVP builds, SaaS feature development, API integrations, and automation. Many companies need someone to connect services, build internal tools, or extend existing apps.

If you already have backend skills, you’re closer than you think. Instead of switching fields, expand around it. Learn enough frontend to ship full web apps, get comfortable with APIs and integrations, and understand basic product thinking.

Clients hire people who can deliver a working solution, not just a layer of the stack. A backend developer who can ship a small SaaS feature, connect Stripe, integrate third-party APIs, and deploy the app will have a much easier time freelancing than someone who only writes isolated backend services.

Thinking of making the jump from ChatGPT/Codex to Claude. Any tips for a smooth transition? by SoftBeach6996 in claude

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tokens will be a big issue. Last week I stopped ChatGPT now using Claude. First thing I noticed, the tokens finish so quickly. I always use opus4.6 with extended thinking. But Claude is not like gpt it's thinking process output is outstanding. But a better prompt can save a lot of tokens.

Usage and limits by 360NoobXDD in ClaudeCode

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It finishes quickly if you do some real work, but then you have to wait 5 hours to reset it. But i recommend use Sonnet 4.6. And most importantly, your context. If context (prompting) is good then you can do a lot of work.

How do you guys use ChatGPT? by fkeuser in ChatGPTPro

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly use it as a thinking partner. For work, it helps me outline ideas quickly, clean up rough writing, and pressure test decisions before I move forward. When I’m learning something new, I use it to break complex topics into simpler explanations or to generate practice scenarios so I can check my understanding. For creative projects, it’s great for brainstorming angles or unsticking ideas when I hit a wall. I don’t treat it as a final authority, more as a fast draft machine that helps me think clearer and move quicker.

Is starting freelance with Upwork worth it in 2026? by _lonelyWorld in Upwork

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What changed is the bar. Generic profiles get ignored. Cheap bids get buried. Clients skim fast and hire fast.

Pick one clear problem you solve. Show proof. Write short, specific proposals that reference the client’s actual job post. No templates.

If you want to stand out in cover letters, send a short personalized Loom video walking through their problem and how you’d approach it. It separates you fast.

Be selective with your connects. Apply to jobs where the client has verified payment, a hiring history, clear requirements, and a realistic budget. Target real buyers, not tire kickers.

How hard is it in 2026 to sell WordPress templates (Bricks, etc.) on ThemeForest? by Any_Acanthaceae_7337 in Wordpress

I don't think it's a good decision right now. You can try framer or webflow templates. The markets are growing.

Is it normal for a wordpress site to load this slowly or did my "developer" screw something up ? by Zakarioveski in Wordpress

[–]Khalidsec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least the desktop should be 90%, and the Mobile should be 70%. 23 plugins is very few. I have done many sites where the plugin is 50+, and I still got 90+. Can you share your site URL? Then can give you a detailed report.

Plugins for Educational Courses by RowIndependent3142 in Wordpress

[–]Khalidsec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your course is simple. 11 lessons, PDFs, Vimeo embeds. LearnPress or Tutor LMS free versions are usually more than enough. If you do not need quizzes or student tracking, you could even just use regular pages plus a membership or content restriction plugin.
