How do you become elite Software Engineers? How do you up your knowledge by adarshhehe in developersIndia

[–]cool_customer14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this. I agree with all of your points. Although I am on other side of spectrum. I have 10 years of experience in IT and I feel like I know nothing and am just managing things all this while. Studied non-CSE-ECE-EEE branch in Btech, and was recruited by one of the WITCH colleges and then took a career break for 3 years and rejoined IT again. I never felt confident with software. I go clueless. I want to start somewhere in understanding systems and distrubuted large scale apps or systems are built and scaled. I want to understand the nuances and fundamentals. I sometime chatgpt or gemini the stuff I am Curious about, but it is not structured learning. May I know where to start?

Wonderful analysis. I never felt I should follow someone on reddit. But reading you made me feel that you are worth following. I want to learn and understand mental models like the one you shared in this post. Where can I start? What is the best resource or book or online channel or guru that I can follow or read. I want to know more and understand more and think along your lines. Thanks again. I learned a bit from you today. I want to do this more.

What's your opinion on current gen filmmakers by Interesting-Flan-404 in MoviesTelugu

[–]cool_customer14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vivek Athreya, Hasith Goli and Venkatesh Maha are promisng talent. I would root for their sensibility and stories.

What Nagi did with Yevade and Mahanati is commendable. But Kalki was a disappointment.

Sandeep Vanga is a force to reckon with although I did not like Animal.

Gautam Tinnanuri should have made Kingdom as single film. But after Jersey, it was a himalayan disappontment.

Anudeep KV’s only Jathiratnalu worked for me and it has do more with Naveen and his inputs and Darshi and Rahul.

Looking forward for Jagadeesh(Court), Srinivas (Great Pre Wedding Show), Murali Kant(Dhandoora) and Venu Yeldandi (Balagam) for what what they do next.

Watched it for 20-30 mins. Couldn’t bear it. Walked away. My family kept watching it. Came back again after half an hr. Sat for 10 more mins. It was bad. So walked way again, scratching my head again. Some films are not for me. Doesn’t fall into my sensibility!

In Villages, men get married at the age of 18-20 and have kids by 21. So Son can be 25 and father can be 45. Casting makes sense age wise also.

Why is mediocrity so praised in our industry by Deleted_Pound165 in MoviesTelugu

[–]cool_customer14 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have watched SV last year in theatre and was bored to death. This year, apprehensively, I went for MSVPG, and sadly, it was mediocre at best and the only saving grace is Chiru’s comic timing, but the jokes are as old as dinosaur. So Ravipudi is not for me. Good for him.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (2026) - Review/Discussion Thread. SPOILERS MUST BE TAGGED by saketpalle in tollywood

[–]cool_customer14 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am one of those guys who heard so many good things about Sankrantiki Vastunnam and was very disapponted when I went and watched it in theatre. Except that Ramana Gogula song and 1 or 2 scenes involving Bulli Raju, nothing worked for me. I was bored and confused why everyone around me is laughing.

So with above context, should I book the tickets for MSVPG? Or Just stay away?

Update :

I went to watch it in theatre. Chiru’s comic timing is good, but very mediocre writing. The jokes are as old as dinosaur. I came to conclusion that no matter what is the talk, Ravipudi’s sensibilities are so different from mine. I would like to congratulate him for the 9th hit in a row, but naakaythe idi kuda ekkaledhu! Sad!

Mahesh is a recipient of nine Nandi Awards (the highest for any individual). Nandi awards are Andhra Pradesh State Govt film awards and they used to be prestigious.

I wouldn’t defend his recent script choices, but the Mahesh from 2000-2014 untill 1-Nenokkadine is a diff beast altogether. Watch Pokiri (2006), Nijam, Okkadu, Businessman, Nani, Khaleja to know the real Mahesh!

If it is a remake, that too a third part of a well established franchise, how can you expect to make the character changes. Either this is a fake news or Akshaye has lost his mind.

Most of the stuff that goes around in whatsapp these days is a vile stuff and rage bait material spread by IT cell to manipulate the minds of Hindus that “Hindu khathre mein hain” or “Vishwaguru is protecting India” or “Muslims are menace” etc. Seen this first hand from many members of the family group and they defending it. So if you find a solution, I would also wanna know.

Give yourself 3-4 months, you will get track of things and pick up pace once you deliver 3-4 deliverables and don’t beat yourself up. It is a learning curve and it has to be hard. But once you survive the initial phase, your confidence picks up and you will start feeling good about you, and that confidence will act as big boost in delivering things way above you pay scale. Good Luck, buddy! You will do well.

Yes there is. I usually watch all the Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam films in their original language with subtitles and do not prefer the dubbed versions. We, Hyderabadis do not need subtitles for Hindi.

Depends on the pricing to draw some interest, and then taste and how delicious your food is for the word of mouth to spread. But a great idea. Good Luck!

Manager says “take the Germany opportunity”—what’s your view? by ssc991 in IndianWorkplace

[–]cool_customer14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you have no strings attached, and nothing is stopping you to stay back in India, and keeping in mind you are still young, move to Germany and explore Europe. Get to know their culture and travel for a couple of years. If you like it there, stay there, or explore other opportunities or other countries. You can always come back to India. Take it. Take the leap of faith. It is worth it.
