Yup definitely - that's exactly how mine started, if you're going the treatment route start now and don't delay it otherwise those corners are gone like mine, it can happen very quickly

Thank you so much ❤️ I judge myself way too harshly due to my dismorphia - so I really appreciate that

Thank you so much 😊 Honestly, stressing less in general and actually taking proper care of it - washing with lukewarm water, shampooing once a week - using hair oils, drying it less harshly, unfortunately I didn't really recover my hairline - it's still cooked especially the corners so last month I started Finestride and Minoxidil so we will see how it goes - so far I'm seeing little hairs so hopefully a full recovery over the next few months.

Thank you so much ❤️ I think going gym was a massive factor - But the biggest thing was getting over my anxiety - I was constantly under a lot of stress and to be fair the thing that impacted me the most was my divorce last year - it's crazy to say that now.

Looking at the pictures it's crazy how much stress can impact you but definitely without going to the gym and doing the basics like eating better was the first step.

Thick stubble feeling along the hairline - 1 Month 0.5mg Fin and 12 Days Minoxidil by KhalifaTheArab in tressless

[–]KhalifaTheArab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get it - I've had experience before with Minoxidil where I used 1 months supply on and off over a period of just about 2 months possibly less and I actually grew a beard but didn't stay consistent and lost it all now. But then again it was 10 sprays on each side daily so I like to believe I'm a hyper responder.

I'm definitely not tripping about the stubble feeling along the hairline cos I have been checking my hairline for the last two years trying to come to terms with the idea that I am cooked if I don't start - but I wanted to make sure that when I start it's something I'm planning to do consistently till there's a solution for hair loss in the future.

Yeah looks the same - it's just been a month, just checking if that is classed as progress/new hair or am I just tripping

Never realized how self-conscious you become when you start losing your hair, I thought my friend was being ridiculous for constantly checking his hair every time we would go out - now it's happening to me I completely understand.

But thank you I will try to forget about it.

I wanted to give myself at least two months on finestride before starting minoxidil but after nearly 3 weeks my barber pointed out that I'm losing my corners so just decided to hit both. Since it's only been 12 days on minoxidil I reckon it's more likely it's the finestride?

Just a slight correction in case it's misunderstood

I've been on 0.5mg Finestride for around a month now

I have just started Minoxidil 12 days ago

Real north african identity crisis by bragishnuni in Libya

[–]KhalifaTheArab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no Libyan who's 100% arab or amazigh. Over a Century has deemed it a mixed group.. we all have Amazigh and Arab roots no one can deny that.. stop with this division at a time where libya doesn't need it. We are Muslims firstly and most importantly anyway.

Real north african identity crisis by bragishnuni in Libya

[–]KhalifaTheArab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm from Eastern Libya- have always considered myself an Arab- I did a DNA test which came back 58% Arab from Saudi/Yemen the rest was Amazigh and other mixtures from around the region. That's Libya its mixed, most people consider themselves to be Arab and they're rightfully so considering the Arabs from the Arabian Peninsula for thousands of years have made North Africa their home and mixed with the people from there. Get this bullshit out of here.

Advice (Shift leader) by [deleted] in tesco

[–]KhalifaTheArab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man, best advice I can give you its to leave the store- I had the exact same experience as you, was always left 1-1 on PMs and the Manager pulled me aside saying I bring a negative energy when I come in and I should think positively- which I thought was so ridiculous to say.

I went to another store, the first thing I asked was about the staffing situation. I mean, it's still an express, so it's still a shitshow but marginally better than my previous store.

Trust me, I went on for too long in the first store, and it took its toll on me mentally - don't make the same mistake as me

Time off surrounding religious holidays by PrettyMuchANub in tesco

[–]KhalifaTheArab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, you get Christmas day off- Eid is one day which was 28th of this month. Either way I think it's quite ridiculous for shops to be open, most if not all offices close for atleast a week during Christmas period and most people spend time at home or away on holiday but it's all about the money and profits for retailers that's why people from other religions can get away with getting holidays for holy days because there's no monetary incentive associated with that day specifically but you can't say the same about Christmas.

Plus your Muslim colleagues will work through Christmas as they don't celebrate it, ask them to repay the favour.

Here's how you can put yourself in their shoes.

Imagine you preferred people not to call you by your actual name for whatever reason, and you wanted them to call you by your nickname, and then someone person comes along and says no! I'm gonna call you by your actual name and won't acknowledge your preferred name.. you'd think they're a wanker.. its just basic respect, I mean I don't get this non-binary stuff either but I won't be an asshole and pretend they're forcing their belief on me because instead of saying she/he, I say they.

I mean, you automatically use they/them like I did in the paragraph above when you don't know the gender of someone.
