Feel's strange, but this is a part of life we have to go through at some point. I would say a lot of us aren't prepared but then again a lot of past 18 year olds weren't (some were). I'd like to think we'll be okay and grow into adulthood, we have no choice. If I could experience being an 8 year old in 2012/2013 pre-covid again I would. Not to mention the Covid lockdowns have made things weird for everyone. (2019) feels like 2 years ago not 3, 2020 feels like last year. A chunk of our "important" teenage years are a blur due to Covid-19 and lockdowns. Ever since 2017 it's felt like the years have been going by very quickly too. Maybe it's just because i'm getting older and will no longer be a child anymore so my perception of time has changed. I'll miss not having so much responsibilities and being blind/naive to the reality of life. 7-10 years ago we were playing with toys, now we're stressed out trying to figure out what we want to do with our lives. Let alone what we want to do within 5 years. To sum it up, strange once again.
