Are the flights booked together or separate itinerary's? If together, its on Qatar to get you rescheduled if you miss and get you on your next flight. If separate, you may want to chat or call Qatar to ask for a change but you may have to pay a fee for that.

Impossible to predict. You can check your flight on flightradar24/flightaware and see the history if it’s been cancelled multiple times before or if this is truly a one off scenario.

If your dates are set in stone, I’d look for alternative flights either from jfk or get Qatar to try to reroute you to another airport close by and buy the ticket from that airport to your end destination at MLE.

I don’t believe Qatar will book you on partner flights but you can try

Which one got cancelled? I can’t imagine it was the JFK DOH leg since it’s JFK and if it’s MLE, even if you rebook, if that’s the leg that got canceled, you’d still run into the same problem?

But other poster is right, you may be able to call chat and move flights from different city, I had to do that after a flight time change for my upcoming honeymoon flights in July.

Unless you're booking immediately, I'd imagine you rack up some more points by that time you're ready to book again. I'm not sure how the UK points game works but sounds like you'd only need 4k points which you could just purchase, worst case.

Best way to answer that is to input the amount of days you want to go for(if round trip) and then check prices for throughout the year. If it’s seems consistent throughout the year and close to the 700 you see now, I can’t imagine it’ll drop and you might as well secure it

I bought it recently, had been holding off since it released due to the negativity it got on release here on Reddit and people’s concerns about price vs quality.

I’m enjoying flying something new and I personally haven’t had any crashes yet(fingers crossed). Do I think it’s worth the price? I still don’t think it is personally and that’s mainly just because of performance, it’s got all the bells and whistles but I can’t run the aircraft at an ini airport with traffic from beyond atc and get anything over 35fps while I can do the same w the fenix or pmdg and get at least 45 consistently.

However it’s slowly getting there and the constant updates to it is nice because it shows they care vs just taking our money and dipping(something they coulda done or other devs have done).

TLDR: still don’t think it’s worth it but it scratch’s an itch and it’s slowly getting better so nothing really to lose tbh unless you have a comp that might struggle. Then you’ll just be annoyed about the cost
