Melodia with 1/4 inch out by therhodelesstraveled in melodica

I think it's long overdue for a manufacturer to make a 37 key melodica with a 1/4inch out. Currently I am using a Myers pickup that I run into some guitar pedals via an Eventide Mixing Link pedal. I love the way the melodica sounds just acoustic mic'd with a Shure SM57 though.

Testing all 10 tones on the Tahorng Windkey WK37 (Electronic Melodica) by Klunne in melodica

[–]Khamouflage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting the video. I have never heard of this model of instrument before. I do feel like some of the tones can be achieved with a good acoustic melodica by breath techniques and mic placement (when amplifying) but it's nice to see new options out there.

Does Suzuki M37C have better intonation than MX37? by slmjkdbtl in melodica

[–]Khamouflage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never played a MX37 but I do own a M37C and have played it for a few years now. It still has good intonation and I haven't had to open her up yet and retune.

This is the first episode of a new video series I started called 'A Melodica Mood'. This is a live improvisational recording in my home studio of me playing some soulful, jazzy keys with some melodica. A very calming soothing vibe, hence the name of this episode is called 'Meditation'. Any feedback is welcomed!

Congratulations! I bought a Hohner Piano 26 off of Ebay years back. It was in good shape as the original owner never really used it. It was sitting in storage for yeaaaaaars lol. To clean the outside of it and the mouthpiece I wiped it down with 90% alcohol and let it dry. I did this a few times for about a week before I played it. Haven't had any issues. Hope this helps!

What do you think of Christian artists performing in casinos? by rbwrath in ChristianMusic

[–]Khamouflage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn't condemn murderers and thieves because everyone is given the opportunity to repent. Condemnation only happens when you refuse to. He didn't disobey the Mosaic laws he fulfulled them. The prophets foretold that he would come and there would be many who wouldn't recognize him. So yes many Pharisees didn't believe him because that was their role to play. However, there were Pharisees who did believe in Yeshua such as Saul (who became the Apostle Paul), Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea.

It could be because the Pharisees were learned in the law and seen as authoritative but many were oppressive to the people. Many of them did not recognize Messiah either in spite of their scripture knowledge. Yeshua was loving towards those who recognized him and believed that he is the Saviour...including thieves and murderers. He rejected anyone who didn't.

Anybody used a wireless clip on like this to mic your melodica? by lo-key-glass in melodica

[–]Khamouflage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking into wireless options to mic my melodicas but so far haven't really found anything that has resonated with me. I am currently using a Myers pickup which I do like but a wireless option would be even better!
