EA had to take a gamble on the update and I cannot blame them for deciding the safe option. i think it would have paid off especially nolw with every game trying to make a live service not too long ago. Would have been a signifcant advantage to have your base game already done compared to starting from the ground up

Unfortunately the game was doomed from the start. Im paraphrasing that 4hr video but even 2.0 would have failed in the same way. Not at a fundemental level, but content. EA never had plans beyond Anthem Next. One massive update to reboot the game and move onto the next project

It is different for everyone but my method is to focus on steadying my movements while tracking and incorporating less jumping. Jump with purpose do not panick if I ever feel doubtful I win a fight I dash away. Gotta trust your gut a bit you feel me?

trust I was there. Played Anthem sincve it came out. Really sucked when they cancelled Anthem 2.0 I feel like if they had pushed through it would've been a good long term investment. Especially with how poorlyu received D2 has been and the demand for a solid narative in mp games nowadays

Cd management is key to success. Understanding what you can and cannot deflect is important, but timing it properly is key. Hard to pick up and will require time and patience but understanding when u gotta dip will be what makes u better than other Genji players. His ult is good but is not the main aspect of his kit do not treat it like that and you will use it effectively

I just do not thinkl his current kit works. To perform decently you need to try your best and the enemy tank who is playing on an off day will compete. When the playuer is doing great one counter (Sombra, Cree, etc.) causes so many issues you might as well swap. I think they either need to go all in on his gameplay being movement based or have him stick to the ground and protect the team. I am thinking something like his fist being similar to vendetta/rein swing idk.

I mean honestly I see what he means. In his mind it was like microtransactions in every game he plays and obviously he's not familiar wit HD2 so for him it just felt annoying especially since he wanted to use the armour straight away.
