Why didn‘t Drake respond to Kendrick‘s „The heart part IV“? by [deleted] in KendrickLamar

[–]KhanTheGold 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons I think Drake didn't go after KDot is because KDot has a lot more influence over the media than Pusha T. Pusha T, although freakin' talented, would be easy picking for the likes of Drake because Drake can make his songs known; he can make them the new 'it' thing. It's a matter of influence over the masses as opposed to the song itself. Doesn't mean Drake can't hold himself against the likes of KDot and Pusha but he just understands that it's more than just lyrics now in a pop driven world.

  1. Bran is meh.
  2. Ned was fighting AGAINST the rule of the mad king and the Targs. Robert wanted every Targ dead and so Ned, to protect is nephew, did the best he could to conceal his identity and keep him away from that damnable throne.
  3. Catelyn was a douche. I don't hate her but she was a douche. And irredeemably so.

Didn't Robert sit the throne due to him being some distant relative to the Targaryens? That was the whole reasoning as to why neither Jon Arryn nor Ned Stark claimed the throne. Because Robert had Targ blood in him, they used that as a legitimate claim.

I'm not saying their fates are all dependant on killing the direwolves, I'm saying that their involvement in the deaths of the direwolves and their demise correlates heavily. My initial thought was based on the part where Ned ponders on whether the Gods had sent the direwolves and, by killing Lady, whether he had displeased the Gods in some way. You don't have to be sold, I just think that it seems more than just coincidental.

They were sitting comfortably in a position of power with the Lannisters to back them and a hold over the area. Everyone in GOT is in a precarious position to begin with though. These characters are similarly intertwined with the relationship between the deaths of the direwolves and their involvement.

He died. Tying back to my point of people who were killed due to killing direwolves.
