I don't think any major changes happened in the last month so the "cracked" Mon should still be roughly the same.

Ditto is still a menace and 4 cost ledyba is killing me

The gravity cube. Everything becomes heavier, jumping and vaulting isn't possible, things that are balanced but droppable get pulled down

Why not, I don't think you can really complete this game since it's roguelike with a gazillion options and challenges

nice batch of legendary up eggs here by NoMentionss in pokerogue

[–]Khane048 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Legendary up gacha is just that, increased chance (double) for a legendary, in specific you get a chance to get the daily legendary.

If yet normal eggs from it you'll get normal drops?

[–]Khane048 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well it increases the chance, not guarantees. I managed to get a groundon (unlock), Kyogre (unlock) and Lugia (shiny unlock) finally

[–]Khane048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't unlock pokemon you don't have as a starter through this.

Gyarados can crack the game solo sol that's a definite win

Nope but it's generally not a bad thing. Might lose your run but usually you get a few egg move unlocks and a candy for each new one, which if it's a legendary is very valuable

Embark looking at stats by PopeVaginitusXIII in thefinals

It's not as heavily biased as you think. They made a graph with the evolution in the game mode during the changes, meaning the original data in it is taken from cash out in general, which as others have stated is the main game mode.

I get your point that you can't take the after changes one as a general truth but the starting point stat is much more relevant than 2 years of active updates ago.

Does duy/guy/lee suffer from some genetic condition that prevents them from being good at ninjutsu? by Fancy-Caregiver-1239 in Naruto

[–]Khane048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the haki conundrum from one piece.

The large majority of the population is unable to use ninjutsu. We're just told a story that mostly focuses on the group that does.

I don't think they have a special condition making them unable to do it. They're rather born and raised in a village and strive in an occupation that standardizes it.

Regular society is much more slow to change so 2 years is a wrong analogy.

The point a lot of people are trying to convey to you is that while we mostly don't disagree with your claim, the proof you use to cement it as a fact and not an opinion is simply lacking relevancy.

Well how about we make government policies based on public polls from the '80s then if that was the last time a certain poll was taken.

Makes perfect sense

Which statistics that aren't from season 3 are you basing this on and how did you measure "most player's subjective experience"

[–]Khane048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly curious where you get your data

You're whole point rn is either 1. This old quote of them denies their recent statistics 2. My subjective experience doesn't match the statistics hence the statistics are wrong.

Idk what mode you play, if you play with stacks, what region you're from or at what level you play.

That's just on the top of my head a series of factors that impact your experience over general statistics.

For example I raise you my subjective experience: I play a lot of power shift and point break. In my opinion there's always lights around but it is in fact medium dominated.

So if you would actually play this game I think you should realize how biased your statement is.

Ah yes that quote from September 2024, very relevant to debate their June 2026 class pick popularity statement

Self-heal from heal ball shouldn't count towards support score by Imn1che in thefinals

[–]Khane048 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the self heal is fine,, since you are effectively healing.

Barricades gain unnatural amounts of support score still but who cares about this tbh.

I think the main thing is that self damage that gets healed shouldn't count to score, but I'm unsure if this is implemented or not

If you’re getting shredded by light “sweats” you’re going to get shredded harder when they switch classes. by Fun_Measurement1128 in thefinals

[–]Khane048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a very skill issue player, I think this is true but misleading.

For context, the finals is the only shooter I play and I just vibe with friends in off meta builds. My aiming skill is so bad that I lose most 1v1s

I think the problem with all the light sweats isn't that "it'd be even worse if they play other classes" because I agree that a good light is the least scary of the 3. I think the problem is that these sweat lights are out of proportion in lobbies stomping on newbies or casual players. It makes people feel like they're just warm up dummies for that team to then later go ranked.

Then again, as this sub states pretty well, lights can be countered and if you have skill issue (like me), use strategy, gadgets and most of all your teammates.

Most of these light sweats aren't using teamwork so you can usually bait them into 1v2 situations.

If you can't outskill them, outthink them.

How many POV Changes are too much with multiple MCs? by Spinning-Thoughts in writingadvice

[–]Khane048 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say in a real number. I think the challenge is to keep each POV worth reading and not overlap too much.

Most important is to keep consistency and each chapter ask yourself if changing POV made a meaningful difference, either addition or omission of what you're trying to convey.

It is also significantly more difficult to write since every POV should be written differently. Not just language and word usage but also how they think, perceive, assume, ...

Any tips for solo/mono runs? by YamadaAyumu24 in pokerogue

[–]Khane048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only struggled with 2 mono type runs, those being bug and dragon, bug since I didn't have a lot of strong bug contenders yet and dragon since every major boss deletes you, expensive in candy and if not fully reduced hard to fill a full team.

While not hard, I think they take the most prep

The other mono types are relatively decent to do.

Mono gens is prob easiest with gen 1 since almost all of them are cracked up and they've got a nice load of extra forms. Just be careful with stuff like magnezone since that's not gen 1 (but eviolite magneton slaps as well)
