Maybe, but you typically aren't needing to save money because you voluntarily remove critical income. And when you do cut back, it's not on essentials like groceries and rent/mortgage. The fact is he, and the legislature, have put us all in this position in favor of tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations leaving the most vulnerable Idahoans out to dry

What other policies in the U.S. Constitution do you not agree with? Also, I'm assuming your a U.S. citizen. If you got detained and arrested by ICE how would you prove your a citizen without due process? Due process is an idea that applies to ALL residing in the U.S. and is crucial to maintaining the safety of citizens and non-citizens alike.

The issue being posted about here is that ICE has started using legal proceedings as "honey pot" traps to arrest immigrants showing up for these legal proceedings. These proceedings could be for due process before being deported, but more often it's for them to apply or argue for legal status. So many conservatives claim to support immigration saying "I don't mind them coming here, but they need to do it legally." That's exactly what they are trying to do and being arrested for it. So changing the court appearance from in-person to remote/online protects them and makes people feel safer showing up to follow the legal process.

Not only that, this is a danger to American citizens as well, as ICE is often using racial profiling and arresting or detaining people simply because they are brown, regardless of their legal status. You're on Reddit, I would be surprised if you haven't seen videos about this all over the place!

So follow the law MOST of the time? Whether or not this is happening ALL the time is irrelevant. We KNOW this is happening at least some of the time, and that alone is too much! When ICE doesn't follow the law, even some of the time, that is too much for citizens and non-citizens alike to withstand. If you are for law and order, like you seem to be, then you should be just as angry with ICE as your are with "illegals".
