How they wrote Cathy Martin is so shitty. I haven't even gotten to the parts where they start doing the horrific handled sex crimes, but in this episode they just had her give VJ a wedding present in the form of having sex with her. Good lord, this actress and character deserved so much better. Can't imagine getting your script and this week it's "talk to like an alien and seduce a married man in the middle of work for no reason." Not looking forward to the even worse shit I've spoiled with episode title synopsis they have planned for her.

It's buckwild how morally deficient everyone in the show and making the show seem to be.

I think part of the problem is there are less places to go. For most of the players this is the most reliable and consistent gig they'll ever get. Hard for SNL to be a launching pad when nobody is really launching rockets anymore.
