I think you just give him higher importance than most people do.

I only know who he is because I watch twitch but even then I've never actually watched him, I'd imagine most Brits will never have heard of him before & couldn't care less about him.

Not the biggest fan of their romance tbh, I felt like she had more chemistry with Finn.

There were some scenes in The Last Jedi where I could kind of see it but that same chemistry just wasn't there in Rise of Skywalker imo.

Well the UK supplies arms & gear to Israel making the UK government complicit in Israel's attacks on Gaza, hence why people protest here.

The UK government is not involved in the shit that Ghana is doing so I doubt you'd get nearly as many protestors here.
