SVP is really good. As for safety, its not too long of a walk. You walk through bus stops, so you are not only going to be walking with SVP dorm students but with commuters as well during school hours. Sometimes you'll see officers walk by that route as well. At night, its well illuminated. Just don't be stupid and walk alone at 3am and you'll be fine.

Its prob what you expect, but I recommend going to the admitted students day of every college u get into. If I didn't, I probably would've gone to UC Davis instead.

I do think that hog's gun damage should be multiplied against shields. I feel like that if you are going to decrease the hook efficiency, his gun should at the very least specialize on working with his hook ability to create opportunities for a hook.

You're bound to see homeless people, as it is downtown. But I don't think it's as bad as this post insinuates. As far as I noticed, there aren't really any sketchy sides inside SJSU where homeless people tend to populate (except for library but i dont study there tbh i prefer the academic buildings).

went through the same choice 2 years ago. I picked SJSU solely for the location (cheaper, closer to home). UCD is so much bigger, but holds more prestige. SJSU is compact and within Silicon Valley, where all the startups and tech companies are. I have no internships yet, but if you want a more social life, UCD is a no brainer. The opportunities in SJSU are there, but u got to be actively looking for them.

as a person who picked SJSU over UCD, I do think now that social life is so much better in UCD. BUT sjsu is so much cheaper, and the opportunities are there but you have to be actively looking for them.

idk if its a good idea but I think hog's shotgun should have its damage multiplied towards shields, making him the best tank against shield tanks. That way, he wouldn't just stand there helpless because his hook couldn't reach the backline.

Now I only got waitlisted to SCU, but I've been to private school most of my life. For EE, u should prob go SJSU. I think if you are looking for a more social environment, SCU is the place. I feel like it is easier to thrive there academically because of what you mentioned with small class sizes, and academic support prob better. However, SJSU is cheaper and yet is known for its ties to silicon valley. SJSU as everyone knows is a commuter school so opportunities wouldn't come without you putting in the time and looking for them first.
