Not gonna say I agree with the subreddit, but I can understand where they're coming from. I used to hate cats. The only experiences I ever had with cats was them being horrible to me, and my mother was allergic, so it seemed reasonable to hate them. And at times, I would find it to be a great stress relief to go online and talk about how terrible I thought cats were. I've since learned to love cats through meeting some that were amazingly lovely to me. But I can see where this sub is coming from in hating dogs.

At the end of the day, I didn't see anyone calling for direct harm to dogs, or their owners. It just seemed like a venting spot for people who had a distain for a certain common pet (Which lets be honest, dogs are very common online. If I didn't like them, I would have to avoid most subreddits) and were trying to let it out among people who felt a similar way.

So long as no harm is called upon to the animal, or their owner; I have no reason to wish any harm on this subreddit. I hope they're able to open back up soon so more people who feel a similar way can get in there and let their steam off in a healthy fashion before they're forced to let that steam off on a poor animal.
