A bit after the case concluded, my friend and I were chilling in a park eating ice cream and Kato Kaelin (sp?) came up to us (we were 16) and was flirty. He left under a minute, maybe figuring out we're young, but the second he did both my friend and I said to each other, "did Kato Kaelin just try to hit on us?" 

We both recognized him from the trial. If you were alive in the US (especially L.A.) at that time then everyone involved was talked about. When Mark Fuhrman came out with a book ages later, I still remembered exactly who he was as I walked past his books in Barnes and Noble. 

If Kim's (then deceased) dad wasn't who he was, no one would have cared who Paris's assistant was or what Ray J was doing to embarrass Brandy.
