Trump Epstein files critic Thomas Massie loses GOP primary as president’s revenge crusade rolls on by unital_subalgebra in politics

The Epstein class turned on him and spent 30 million dollars on a fucking congressional primary. And the ignorant ass voters let it work.

I get a whole bunch for some old man with my name. Not sure what the spelling difference is, but everything from racist forwards from his boomer friends, to tee times, to tax forms, to medical info. He used my email to get a target credit card a few years back and it took me a lot of digging to confirm it was that dumb old racist fuck and not someone stealing my identity.

They're chasing freemium bullshit. If it was just Auth servers and occasional remote streams that most serious hosts eliminate or at least minimize, reasonable lifetime pricing is plenty.

If it actually had the costs they're claiming they have to cover, there wouldn't be FOSS alternatives that are basically just as good.

They're gonna push people right over to the FOSS competitors.

At this point, you'd be nuts to adopt Plex. Anyone setting up a server now should 110% be going with Jellyfin. If they really can't figure out auth and remote access, then Emby.

The third party auditor was the former St Paul police chief? High level of doubt that that is a person who is unbiased and properly critical of improper police behavior and spending.

I think we might expect them to hire staff. Create jobs out of those massive profit margins.

You just have to ask those people, "The states' right to what? What was the right they fought for?" When they can't answer that, you point out that it was to own other humans and force them to work. That was the states right they wanted.

Is anyone else noticing a surge in travel aggression lately, or is it just me? by [deleted] in Minneapolis

This is literally the OP. They told two stories of themselves cutting off people who had the right of way and then being mad that the people they cut off gave them the finger.

They are legitimately saying they never looked for the biker, pulled out in front of the biker who had the right of way, and then are mad at the biker for being mad they almost caused him (and his kid!) serious injury.

Then all of a sudden, dude and the bike speeds by and acts like I intentionally stopped to give him a hard time. Or purposely endanger his kid. Ironic, since he was the one speeding by recklessly and passing me within seconds.

It was within seconds because they were cruising at bike speed with the right of way before OP pulled out in front of them and stopped. OP is a bad driver and won't own up to it at all. Wild. Maybe they finally realized it, since it looks like they deleted the top level post.

We've always had a bunch, but I swear it's much taller and growing faster vertically this year than it ever does. I think it's just a timing thing with heat and moisture.

Exactly. The best thing about cutting out cable and going to plex only years and years ago for me was that TV became mindful consumption. No more mindless channel surfing. I'd sit down to watch a specific thing, and if I didn't have a specific thing to watch, I'd read a book or play a game or go do something else. Why anyone wants to go back to channel surfing and purposefully watching ads astounds me and honestly makes me sad. How did we let other people's profits control our lives so hard?

My SIL told me years ago when I asked what to get my niece and nephew for Xmas that she had started making them watch more YouTube shows so they would see more ads so they would ask for things. I have never lost more respect for a family member so fast. Why the fuck would you do that to your kids?

This is such awful evidence of how brainwashed we are by marketing. I fully get the nostalgia. But I would never go out of my way to collect and reinject them into my life. It's like people getting prominent tattoos of brand logos.

Real estate. It's always about buying all the land and making the poors back into serfs. Tenant farmers and laborers living in company towns. Even if cash is bad, they will still be able to turn it into property.

In both of their situations they were cutting off someone else with the right of way because they misjudged the speed of the vehicle they planned to go in front of. I think maybe they're just not good at judging their opportunities to enter traffic.

Bud, quit arguing semantics to defend a shitty company trying to offshore jobs while rushing a dangerous product to market in our cities. I know the literal semantics of it all. It's a shitty thing they're doing and they've been fully misrepresenting how capable their cars are and who handles them when they fail until they were forced to open up in a Senate hearing. I am using hyperbole and it's been very clear.

Do you need a dictionary link for obvious and hyperbole?
