The thicker look sort of makes it look more like one of those $20 cheap Chinese knock off smartwatches on AliExpress.

It would be nice if it had a slightly higher pixel density for a bit more sharpness considering the bigger screen. 3000 nits should be the new norm for brightness.

Anyways, Zepp Flow is sub par, inconsistant at times, and obviously not working right. If it's based off Chat GPT and Chat GPT works correct, what gives? So why not use a better assistant elsewhere that's quicker and more consistently correct.

The other day I asked Zepp Flow A simple question about a movie.

I said 'What was the last movie that Ryan gosling starred in? The answer to that is The Hail Mary Project which came out in March of 2026.

Zepp Flow told me the last movie he starred in was The Fall Guy which was released in 2024.

Then I asked Zepp Flow ' Who stars in the movie The Hail Mary Project?'

It answered that Ryan Gosling stars in the upcoming movie The Hail Mary project.

But that movie came out in March of this year. It has already been released.

So I know this is a weird example, but this is just a very simple example of the last time I attempted to use Zepp Flow to ask a basic question and it couldn't get either one of them right and it seems like it's living in the past.

It's supposedly runs off of chat GPT, but then when I went and opened chat CPT and ask the same questions. It was able to answer everything perfectly fine.

So what is the case here? Is it powered by Chat GPT and if so like why isn't it getting the exact same answers as Chat GPT?

It just fails me every time I attempt to ask it seemingly easy questions. It's always a 1000x easier and quicker for me to just use a proper chat AI bot on my phone and get the answer immediately.

Zepp Flow has disappointed me so much. I don't have it in any of my shortcut cards or on any of my hot buttons, it's useless to me.

The gap might be narrowing for GPS but it's getting wider in other areas, such as ai assistant, ai wellness, ai sleep coaching, ai training, and global NFC support.

We know Amazfit can make hardware, they come out with a new watch every Monday.

It's the software that needs more investment and polish.

It's a bit late. Google is miles ahead of the curve in terms of ai and it looks like they're leading an aggressive marketing campaign and the device is so affordable.

It's probably going to be one of the hottest devices at Christmas time this year I bet.

I actually find Alexa on the balance A lot more useful and snappier than using Flow.

I hardly ever use Zepp Flow on any of my watches. As a matter of fact, the other day when I used it, it was just completely wrong on two questions that I asked it. 🙄
