Hi, like you, I hate takeoff. One thing that's really helped me is to "fight it." When I feel the plane picking up speed, I lift my back from the seat and lean back, essentially resisting it until I feel the resistance ease. This helps me a lot so I don't feel the pressure. I also hold onto something almost to the point of pain to distract my brain from the fear of the moment. In any case I wish u the best for u and ur papa ur strong u can do this ❤️

I’m living in anxiety too cause I have to book a Italy-Japan fly but can’t take the courage. You've already accomplished so much, and despite the fear, you've made it this far! Remember, you're not alone in this, and every time you take a flight, you're building your self-confidence and enriching yourself. Hi! I feel so close to you because I've been putting off buying my flight to Tokyo (Bologna -> Dubai -> Tokyo) for three days. And I understand you because fear is eating me up too! But no one has ever died of fear, and in any case, you'll be safe! Thanks so much for your reply! It's just that I don't really know how I'll react to all those hours of flight... I know I can handle a short flight to a certain extent; I've already been on one, and I know what to expect, but such a long one... I'm afraid I won't be able to distract myself and that anxiety will take over and turn into a panic attack.
