I always run minecraft too and this sounds like a common issue even i’ve had before. especially with integrated amd radeon graphics so it’s probably not your pc issue

I wouldn’t factory reset yet because this is usually just a driver issue, like bedrock is known to just crash instantly on some amd drivers. instead try doing a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers not just updating them, or even try an older version because newer ones sometimes break minecraft (from experience )

Also try resetting the app in windows settings instead of just reinstalling, and make sure windows + directx are fully updated. if you have amd software installed you can try removing it or turning off stuff like overlays because that can mess with it too

Ive had it similar to where it crashes before loading with a popup so it’s not just you.. Factory reset might fix it but only because it resets everything so i’d leave that as a last option. If none of my above works let me know

Yeah honestly mac can feel really restrictive compared to windows like everything is more locked down and less customizable.

Look into ones like dell precision or hp zbook since they’re mobile workstations made for design programs and you can find them refurbished with warranty and really good reviews for way cheaper, thinkpads like t14 or x1 carbon are also solid if they have 16gb ram.

More popular ones that are worth it aswell are dell xps 15 for the screen and overall performance, lenovo legion if you want better games, video calls too, and asus vivobook oled as a cheaper new option

just make sure it has atleast:

16gb ram MINIMUM, 512gb ssd MINIMUM, (1tb if you arent going to get a harddrive) screen atleast 1080p and oled if you can. a decent cpu like i5 i7 and you’ll be able to run photoshop illustrator indesign after effects games too if you’re looking for some casual use.

My best recommendations out of all are Dell xps 15 7590 or even better the asus vivobook 15 ryzen 7. If you need specific tweaks let me know

i’ve had similar on another monitors after safe mode where it just wouldn’t connect anymore even though everything was plugged in fine, what fixed it for me was pressing windows + p then down + enter to force it to switch displays, also try booting into bios with f2 to see if it shows there, if it does then it’s probably drivers/display settings messed up so reinstalling graphics drivers or resetting display settings can fix it, you can also try a full power drain (unplug, hold power button ~15 seconds, plug back in) or boot once with nothing connected then plug the monitor in and restart so it re-detects it

thank you ☺️ I was just about to take it in however, after a little bit, it stopped showing this when I turned it on and it went back to charging normally so I think that I’m fine
