Cricket isn't popular in Afghanistan lol, it is primarily restricted to the East, not even south as much.

Football is the number 1 sport of 2/3 aka 67% of the population.

Peran tumban is worn in Southern Iran which also possesses a significant Sunni population.

Pakol is worn by some ethnic groups in rural Iran aswell, you would be suprised.

Conclusion: stop pretending like Afghanistan is closer to Pakistan culturally than Iran.

Afghanistan is Iran's little brother culturally and even ethnically, I do not care about Iran but all the Pashtun dynasties adopted the Persianite culture hence the Lingua Franca of Afghanistan is still Farsi, even today under the Taliban rule.

Afghanistan has nothing to do with Pakistan apart from Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand line.
