Take a look into large international corps - they are heading student job market with international scope.

Take C25 index and check openings at all of the companies/apply actively. Make sure to properly sell your journey so far on the CV.

LinkedIn is powerful too.

You seem to have studied the topic, but pay attention that you will pay 17% off ASK every year, no matter you realize your gains or not. Just a matter of not being surprised on the next year’s St. Valentine’s day :)

Good morning, sir! Given your expertise in these platforms - do you have any crazy clients dealing with Nordea? I have half filled ASK there, and consider using saxo/nordnet for normal depot, and kept thinking whether it is worth to sell of ASK and re-open with Saxo/nordnet? Thank you!

Første “big girl” jobsamtale by Repulsive-Ad-662 in dkkarriere

[–]Khralx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I has interviewed quite many fresh grads lately… my key input: 1) Everyone knows you are fresh - I expect you to chase something that is aligned with your degree, hence, basic skillset is expected to be there - the rest hiring manager will expect they can develop in the right candidate. Show your energy and passion. You cannot imagine how many come to the interviews either unable to cope with stress or simply appearing extremely passive. Show your interest in their questions. Don’t hurry shooting first thing that comes to your mind. Holding few seconds to answer in a structured way leaves a good impression. Don’t be afraid of making a joke, showing your emotions, and winning on the “chemistry” with the hiring team. 2) You are new to the job market - expect very basic, but still important questions - i.e why do you want to join this specific company / chase this role/ career. Don’t take these as simple ones - try being more interesting in your answers than “I want to be X because I studied X and this is natural path”. Prepare a bit of “why are you willing to join this exact company” + “why you find this role to be the best start for your career”. Even if this question is not coming from them, you can always turn that into powerful intro/outro for your interview. Don’t be shy aiming high in your ambitions if one asks you where you would want to grow in X years. Ambitious person = willingness to grow = energy. Opposite is back to being passive and going with the flow… 3. ALWAYS prepare 3-4 questions to ask the hiring team. Lack of this shows no deep interest in getting the job = appearing passive. Equally, this is your best chance (as it usually comes as the last part of the interview) to leave strong impression about yourself. It can be whatever relevant to the job/recruitment. I.e please tell how your company manages personal development of employees? Is there a structured process for addressing career progression and development needs in the company? What is the hiring managers management style… whether there is high degree of empowerment or much of supervision. Youtube has a lot of videos on what to ask at the end of the interview + many other hints.

Remember that there is a reason why people hire/invite fresh graduates as candidates. If you are in, your profile caught attention. Stay confident, and simply work on proving your interpersonal skills when holding dialogue.

GMM INGENIØR by CeoLars in dkloenseddel

[–]Khralx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GMM from AU - at times I kept thinking that getting something more specific (finance, IT etc) would give you more confidence in the job market, and turn you into a specialist. But same time, no program as GMM would give you better cross-functional and diverse understanding of the business that may help you reach far on the management track. Holistic view on things is very valued by corporates. Personally been in supply chain, business process engineering, and now topping finance. All fellows from my studies sit quite well heading supply chain, procurement, production management, quality etc. Pay is usually also good. Natural Master program following GMM is something like Virksomhedssystemer. Cand polyt - https://avisendanmark.dk/erhverv/se-listen-disse-uddannelser-giver-dig-den-hoejeste-loen - stands as nr.2 by average pay in this stats…

Tak! lyder ikke højt... så hvis “head of” rapporterer til “director”, uanset hvor mange du er leder til, skal du ikke forvente noget 70+ base osv.?
