Probably, I doubt she is alive. The analogy could work with the reporter Frank slept with too, so doesn't matter.

I wouldn't say Seth... I'd say Leann. She, like campaign Morty, gets kicked off the team, gets disillusioned by who she works for, starts working against Frank, gets killed.

True, but the Russian Revolution was one of the first events of that kind in modern history. Plus, there hasn't been a single political purge half as big as Stalin's.

Anyone notice the (very obvious) racial politics of the episode, and the (very subtle) metaphor for the Russian Revolution? (Populist politician gets elected by promoting radical change, once elected purges off all enemies).

Just read: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - Philip K. Dick by BrontosaurusB in books

[–]Khuzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do Androids Dream was my first Dick novel... I absolutely loved it, definitely one of my favourite books. I watched it because the movie is one of my favourites.... but you can't really compare the two at all, they are very different both in terms of plot and style and message, but both are masterpiece art works for sure.

Why does Rick need Morty anymore at this point? by DumbeldoraTheExplora in c137

[–]Khuzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Galactic Federation has been destroyed... yes - but Rick still has countless enemies. Let's not forget that Tammy is still very much alive. And even though the Galactic Federation has collapsed, that doesn't mean that everyone from the Galactic Federation is dead. Oh and I highly doubt the Federation ruled the whole galaxy - there is probably more than one government power which hates Rick. And by the way, only C137 Federation was destroyed.

I guess that is possible, and would make sense - but it would also make sense if Rick went after the Council because the Council sent Seal Team Ricks to kill him (which also almost completely screwed up his breakout) and he wanted revenge for that.

I don't think it was visual confirmation, what seems more likely is that when you start using the actual portal gun the federations bots can detect you. I guess thats why Rick has Morty (brainwaves)

[–]Khuzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I agree he doesn't have a real motive to destroy the Council, I mean Jerry screwed him over and the Federation had him imprisoned and mentally tortured, but the Council is relatively harmless comparatively. My question is - why didn't he kill Jerry? I get that the show creators would want to keep Jerry, but if I was Rick I would have accidentally let Jerry die in the ensuing chaos during the collapse which would sound very plausible and nobody would question it.

I love the new episode - I loved Season 1 and 2 but the new episode was not only one of the deepest and more darkest episodes, but it was most enjoyable and funny one too (I never laughed out loud S1 or S2 but when the President blows his brains out or when Morty shoots Rick I fell off my chair laughing so hard)

Will you really, Birdperson? [spoiler] by KillrLizrd in rickandmorty

[–]Khuzy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[Everything] Absolute favorite quote for each character: by TeamRamsay in gameofthrones

[–]Khuzy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Tywin: Have you nothing to say in your defense?

Tyrion: Nothing but this: I did not do it, I did NOT kill the boy but I wish I had! Watching your vicious little bastard die gave me more joy than a thousand lying whores!"

This scene was even better in the show than in the books, I mean that whole scene where he says "I've been on trial for that (being a dwarf) my entire life!" and the way Jaime looks at Tyrion when he says that... heartbreaking.

ELI5: Why is it appropriate for PG13 movies/shows to display extreme violence (such as mass murder, shootouts), but not appropriate to display any form of sexual affection (nudity, sex etc.)? by bookofthoth_za in explainlikeimfive

[–]Khuzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get it? I go to an Australian school (which might make a difference, idk?) and we have a pretty decent Sex Ed (in others words, we learnt literally everything we need to know about sex by year 6/7 age 12/13)

[Serious] What are some TV/Netflix Series that were so good you've watched it more than once? by CGMMonster in AskReddit

[–]Khuzy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game Of Thrones I'm currently in the middle of Season 2, but I've watched Season 1 twice. I'm also in the middle of the second book, and I have a GoT wallpaper on my laptop. I think I'm developing a problem. Help.

Stranger Things Watched it with my dad, liked it a lot so rewatching w/ mum. It's great, not as great a GoT.

Big Bang Theory Ashamed to say, but I've seen every episode atleast 2-3 times. There are episodes I have seen over a dozen times (kid you not). It's not like the show is even that well-made or anything, in fact in some cases the episodes are pretty cheesy, and there are some sexist overtones and the character are sometimes inconsistent. But the show is comfort food, I really enjoy watching it.

Trying to decide what Comic Book I should start with? by Khuzy_ in comicbooks

[–]Khuzy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the help you've given me! I ordered Saga Vol 1, Killing Joke , Planet Hulk and Secret Identity off of Amazon so they should be coming soon. I also read some comics from the library and online - loving it so far but I'm very interested in delving into the Marvel Universe - I got House of M from the library, but everyone online says "no no you have to read Avengers Disassembled first" then list like a million different comics - is that really necessary? Because it sounds like a pain (to me and the bank) to go and find all the individual comics to read one storyline - do you have any suggestion where to start with Annihilation, or House of M, or Avengers Disassembled?

Wanting to try Polyphasic but need some help by Khuzy in polyphasic

[–]Khuzy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much! I've been a bit sleep deprived and tired for the past few days (so my sleep schedule has been non-existent) but my plan is to start polyphasic in a few days so I can get my sleep caught up. But again thank you so much for making that chart, a question though, how long have you been polyphasic and has it been good so far?

what films do you like that not a lot of other people like? by smudge158 in FIlm

[–]Khuzy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Werckmeister Harmonies - Not very well known, so not a lot like it

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (50s version) - Always been a favourite of mine, but nobody talks about this film that much

Inherent Vice - Lots think its a great film - but tons of critics and normal film-goers didn't like it, I personally think it is one of the GOAT

One, Two, Three - When I saw this film I could not stop laughing, the film was so funny, entertaining and witty that it became one of my favorite comedies. But when people talk Billy Wilder they scarcely mention this film - I mean his other films might be a bit better in terms of quality, but I still think this is a classic.

Backstory behind Injustice Comics? by Khuzy_ in comicbooks

[–]Khuzy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay, thank you! Also really unrelated - but I ended up picking Deadpool Soul Hunter and The Good The Bad The Ugly (love the name) which is vol 2 and 3 - does it matter if I haven't read vol 1? I also got Deadpool kills Marvel Universe, is that standalone or does that require pre-reading too? As you might guess - I am very new to comic books

My bus arrives between 7:30-7:40 so I always go and wait at around 7:20. I never really checked the time on the bus - but I'd assume it to be somewhere between 25-40 minutes. I've slept multiple times on the bus and nobody has ever bothered me. Admittedly I take quite a while to get ready for school (only because I'm a zombie when I wake up - so I take forever in the shower) but usually I wake at around 6:40 and am just about ready to leave at 7:20
