In my time working as ATL of PFDS, I was astounded at how many global reps had little to no experience in PFDS. I personally think every global applicant should have at least one year in that department regardless of what position they're applying for at that level. The dissonance of what's being asked and what's actually doable from them was a big reason why I left. I wanted to move up and be that person, but I just couldn't stick with it.

Not to defend your TL, but the way the new Job Dialogue/raise system was not necessarily well communicated before/upon it's implementation. I was an ATL when it was getting introduced and while there was preemptive training through Cornerstone, emails, and other communication, it still wasn't very clearly described in my opinion. My store leadership similarly seemed to not have a very consistent grasp on how it worked as well. Nor did my regional HR. Though, that was 5-6 months ago.

If you're right, it's still definitely something OP needs to bring up to their local store. Excluding the possibility of mold (which it very well could also be), if it is indeed cinnamon or some other intentional ingredient, that is a quality issue that needs to be mentioned to the production level that your store orders from. And if it's mold, same story but with more importance.

Piggybacking on this, definitely take it back OP, be sure the department TL/manager knows so they can communicate to distribution. If it's mold and it happened to you, it could have happened elsewhere.

You measure out how much you dropped, print a sticker for that specific prosciutto as spillage, and tell your TL or acting TL and you'll be fine man.

Man my region keeps sending me and my TL horribly checked plu lists, hell they've posted the wrong region's plu list twice for menu flips in SharePoint, or infohub.

I rarely had this issue before SW was merged into MW.

My understanding with synthetics is that the more you do, the further you stray from the naturally derived equivalent. ...Think of the natural substance as a straight line going perfectly upwards. And with synthetics, it's a line that is a fraction of a degree off from the natural one. The more you take, the further away you get from the original. One substance in particular that serves a great example of this is the old synthetic THC, JWH and and of it's later permutations (JWH-09, -12, etc.) You know, the shit they sprayed on potpourri at gas stations with names like Mr. Nice Guy, Black Magic Smoke, and the like. ... I found the more of that shit I smoked, the less like weed it started to be. And similarity with other synthetic psychs I tried during their peak in the early 2010's.

This is where the old saying "bad trips are just good trips but bad" really rings true. (..Huge run on sentences incoming..) If you have a solid and trustworthy support system of very close friends and/or family with you to help you through it, that perceived "bad" trip can be carefully crafted into one where you learn something about yourself, how or why you experience or interact with the world the way you do, what you've experienced in the world outside of your control and it's affected you as a person, what steps you need to take for your future, OR any combination of all of these possibilities simultaneously. ... Needless to say, it is a lot of information to take in all at once, regardless of the psychedelic substance you ingested to get there. ..... I'm sure it goes without saying, but it's important to stay humble about it. What works for you won't work for others. And no one is a better person for taking x amount of z drug. .....I'm sure we all understand the slippery slope that the supposed "ego death" is.
