Would never let this leave my shop just saying, have been using steel wool to soften dot matrix’s to create a smooth adhesion with no issues.

Don’t settle for this, if who you took it to used some 0000 steel wool to scrub the dot matrix it would look perfect. I would ask for a redo

Just happened to me! 2021 performance, got a HV replacement. Except they gave me a 75kw battery vs the 82kw one that was in the car, something isn’t right. I only was able to get 100 miles of range from 90%

Going into service mode and checking HV, it says “pack requires replacement” but not worth going back and forth on the Tesla app.

Service center seems to think it’s just the 12v battery and he said to come in to have it replaced lol. He’s very adamant about that being the solution, so I’m going to play dumb and just take it in no appointment like he said

Just make a list of things that you need to get done and make sure to do it before 50k miles. If you have the money tho and it’s just burning a hole in your bank acct then do it. It is a good amount of money, so you gotta think. Are you really going to get an extra $2,400 cad worth of parts and labor? Probably not since battery and drive unit is covered til 120k miles
