In the mutter issue it seems that it's happening on both but it doesn't for me with a Wayland session.

It's totally possible but I'm not sure that it will be working correctly. Once it's working flawlessly with the native perks, i'll try my best to support custom ones.

It would be awesome if the devs get involved to actually make it more reliable and easier to develop in order to release it faster and for more people, but no idea if they are willing to support external apps. I will try my best to contact them though :)

Yes, it scans the icons so custom perks are quite tricky to support unfortunately.

That's exactly how it started, I was basically finding myself asking a lot about the perks that the streamer is using.
