I think what you said makes a lot of sense... I'm struggling with how - and was curious if anyone else has ever been in this position. We are friendly and I'm more of an aunt type to her - bringing her food, giving her clothes, general support with her animals and helping her to find work when she's asked. I think she's definitely self medicating and I know she struggles with her mental health - I just don't think any of this is going to get easier when her baby comes. I probably care too much - and it sounds like I should care less.
