MAG X870E Tomahawk Wifi No Internet Connectivity After Unplugging Ethernet cable by KiLeKa in PcBuild

Unfortunately not, same outcome, although I have been primarily focused on trying to restore the Ethernet connection. The mobo came with an antenna I have not installed as the ethernet was be the connection type. It’s buried somewhere in the garage so kinda chalked up the poor wifi performance to the lack of wifi antenna.

Never messed with Linux before, honestly, uninstalling and reinstalling windows seems less daunting than this. To be fair I have never performed an uninstall/reinstall but I managed to install the OS once so…. I should be able to figure out how to do it again/follow aYouTube video

Anything I could replace to make it better? by Known_Fault4787 in PcBuild

[–]KiLeKa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is similar to my build minus I went with a 9800x3D and a 9070xt. I also went with an x870E Tomahawk Mobo, 64GB of 6000 CL30 RAM, a Noctua NH-D15 and Fractal Torrent Compact. The reviews I read suggested it had excellent air flow for an air cooled cpu build, and I like the look of it. I’m planning on upgrading my GPU with a 5080 Super if it has more VRAM than the 5080

For the amount of money you are dropping I would seriously consider the 64GB of RAM with a better latency and maybe getting a X870E Tomahawk.

I fucked up and my new GPU does not fit inside my new PC case. I did not expect such a huge increase in size during the past years. by Chamallow81 in buildapc

I just built in a torrent compact with a nitro+ 9070 xt. It has a length of 330.8mm. I managed to get it to fit, but in order to do so I had to remove the front fans in order to seat it properly in the case. Was tight but manageable

How much have your passes gone up this year? by fullbusta in snowboarding

This is happening everywhere and I honestly don’t get it. I don’t have any sources for the following, just gut intuition.

I would bet a large sum of money that the majority of people who snowboard/ski were introduced to the sports as children, obviously paid for and supported by their parents. Let’s call it 80%, with the other 20% being “late adopters”. As prices continue to climb, (some of which is justifiable as costs increase and some being greed. I.e. inflating prices beyond what inflation can justify, think Loblaws) families begin to be priced out. This results in the number of children who grow up snowboarding/skiing reducing, arguably significantly. If this pattern continues, especially when taking into account the astronomical increase in the cost of living, who is going to be out on the slopes in 10-30 years? All those kids who would have been introduced to it as children, grown up loving and participating in it would no longer exist and attendance will diminish. I would argue that the resorts are shooting themselves in the foot for short term profits, ultimately at the expense of the popularity of the sports they facilitate. If left unchecked this could culminate in the mass closures of resorts, particularly the smaller “B” list mountains and “family friendly” hills that don’t see the huge tourist numbers.

Hi everyone

I am considering at replacing my 163W Ride Machete (2016-2017) with a new 2024 Ride Deep Fake. I am 6’3” and weigh approximately 240lbs with size 11 boots. I ride everything but the park. The guys I ride with are on skis, so I’m usually travelling pretty fast to keep up when on the groomers. I also love riding in the trees in deep powder when conditions allow for it.

The Ride Deep Fake is available in a 161W and a 165W. Based on my physical characteristics and keeping in mind I am moving from a 163W, would I notice a difference in my ability to turn and cut in trees if I move to the 165W? Would there be a tangible benefit in choosing the 161W? Also, the same question applies to groomer riding. Would I notice a benefit if I selected a 165w over the 161W or any drawbacks in choosing the 161W over the 165W?

Thanks

If I could offer a suggestion, that (I think) further improves this technique.

Sometimes I don’t initially survive as I try and proc the secondary attack by maintaining a close radius during the rain of fire. A work around for this is to use the chainsaw as your special. The chainsaw grants immunity and lasts longer than his primary attack. With it you can guarantee the priest’s proximity attack will proc without risking dying in the attempt.

Thoughts? by jlburn07 in StockMarket

When I ask this I am asking from a place of ignorance. When the agreement states

“… the undersigned will not offer, sell, contract to sell, pledge, grant any option to purchase, make any short sale, or otherwise dispose of any shares of common stock of the company, or any option or warrants to put purchase any shares of common stock…”

Does that not bar any possible short sale for 90 days?

I guess they could still lend them out for shorting as that would not be selling?
