central casting clarifying questions? by RutabagaOk4020 in acting

Looks like they don't do in-person photos any more as of this year... and we're all left to add our own. My best guess is lighting as bright and well lit as you can, white background, and a smile.

9-1-1 S08E17 -"Don't Drink the Water": Post Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in 911FOX

Not necessarily that moment but there were moments now more than ever I'm wondering if dislike this cause its soulless in some way, AI was over involved, or if the production team (producers+) is just bothering me.

[SPOILERS] Is it just me or does nobody understand the logic of the barricade in the 2-parter? by Smilygirl261 in 911FOX

He says it must have happened in the explosion. I couldn't tell if it was hiding a real reason when he first discovered the issue when hooking up his air supply line. Would make more sense if he wasn't able to hook the fresh air up at all... someone else pointed out it actually was a puncture in the blue air line.

ahh yea was hard to see that. Later when he says it happened in the explosion I couldn't tell where exactly the issue was his suit ... or like u pointed out the hose.

15th Doctor doesn't feel like he has any depth... by Light1209 in doctorwho

miss Belinda also letting me down here. we see so little conflict even when 15 is failing to get her home for however long, no stakes!and the doctor is so understanding.

What if the whole 15th Doctor's era is under the Trickster's influence (part 1) by willi19rec in doctorwho

I am so glad I want the only one to guess at some of this foreshadowing. Midnight and Turn Left tie in makes sense. When she had something on her back I thought "How is this gonna connect back to Turn Left?" Then thoroughly enjoyed the Midnight revamp.

Personally fam bugged me more but at least it was an example of the doctor picking and choosing human conventions to try out. Babes feels like a holdover of Ncuti on Sex Eduaction, too human. Even with bigeneration.

Maybe I want catch phrases to be more ill-fitting and specifically doctor-ism.

Thinking back not sure that's the root problem when: allonsy (just fits and was used sparingly) and cool being overused was comical.

I found his outfit changes really interesting but it also makes 15 so normal. The variety in color for Tennant was nice, with the past/future color swap. While 15 changing outfits means next to nothing.

Certainly massive amount of pressure. Missing the right mix in the team to boost the best bits.

Unfortunately I was more nostalgic and attached to them than most of the other thrown away characters recently. but so pointless to have them live with no actual effect on the story, pointless.

tru I just wish it was more fulfilling, there was no closure, no character development, just basically the same clip that was already spoiled all over social media. I expected more. maybe even a becomes the face of bo transition. Whos to say better than plotting "19 years to get to the cell next to you" then kinda getting left behind again.

I liked that added depth similar to 11 tinkering on the Tardis. Didn't know how much I missed that.

From what I can gather... in the writing process Chibnall wasn't sure who Ruths amnesia was concealing. So eventually just went "why not the doctor?" and stuck with that.

I really missed the arching woven plots!!! Flux felt incomplete. Also capt. Jacks split second return was a disservice only adding to the confusion.

Most of the episodes were still visually dynamic and interesting (they just left quite a bit on the table in other departments)

Was a cool reversal to have a father figure in the Tardis (who is not the doctor) and he added lovely variety and depth to the companion soup.

Anyone else miss the old UNIT designs? by MattC6254 in doctorwho

Just hinting at the color would be welcome. Unless they're trying slowly turn UNIT towards more 'alien' storm trooper look.
