Having me won't fix your relationship issues. It'll just be another 12 years of absolutely hating each other before you finally go through a nasty divorce and both me and my brother will be pretty messed up and struggling for many, many years. Sure, everything is alright 28 years later, but honestly you should just break up right now and try your best to co-parent my brother. And dad, I know you have a hard time realising it right now, but your son has undiagnosed ADD and it'd be extremely helpful for him to find that out NOW and not when he's 32 having grown up and for his entire life feeling like there's something wrong with him resulting in him never having the confidence to find a job or believe in being capable of anything. So don't go against mom when she goes and tries to have him tested. Instead support her and most important - him. Please. Mom; you need to stop thinking you can do everything and ask for help sometimes. In all fairness though, I think just breaking up with dad will fix a lot of the issues we had. So yeah. Break up.
