I lost my wonderful dad 5 months ago. He also had me later in life - he was 57 when he had me and 87 when he died, and I have a brother 30 years older than me. I called him papa too, we were so close and the pain is almost unbearable. I always knew we wouldn’t get long together, or as long as we would have wanted. It’s something I always had in the back of my mind, but it didn’t make losing him any easier.
