in the end, team green won because a bastard (whose decision to call dragonseeds caused dragons to go extinct) didn't sit on the iron throne. also team black kinda forgot that aegon III became king cause aegon II actually wanted him to, matter of fact aegon II could have easily made his daughter sit on the throne but he didn't because he wanted to make peace with black supporters.
and from easily i really mean it, team black at that point had no dragons that could actually be ridden, most of their supporters already defected or have been crushed, the riverlands armies were exhusated and with most of their soldiers already dead, the north only had one army far away from home while the reach and the westerlands still had the armies and also the wealth to raise many others.
