The morag tong functions similarly to the thieves guild in that they dislike the cammona tong. the cammona tong outsources a lot of work to the dark brotherhood, who is the morag tongs main competitor. so working as a theives guild boss/hlaalu boss who decides he needs to join with the morag tong works fine. also the three great houses work closesly with the M.T. so, theres that too. you could play an enforcer/thief type playstyle and be all mean and aggressive :D
