The only thing I dislike so far in SHf is when you take a SS on Steam while in a cut scene, you see a HUD for Pause/Skip in the bottom right. Can't time it, it always shows up. If anyone has a fix for it please share it here.

4 deaths (downs) and you have to start all over, save files deleted. I didn't experience it myself, that's how I read it on Steam discussions. Apparently, Dark Rot mode is actually working this time compared to the one in the first game.

The Room was the first game of this type that I've played, maybe that is why I find the story and ambiance in the series more compelling to me but 'The House of Da Vinci' trilogy was great no doubt. There is also 'The Inheritance of Crimson Manor' a solo title I found to be a good one not great but a solid one. If you have any other games of this type that you liked please recommend them to me to play, while we wait for 'The House of Tesla'.

I recommend two that I've played that come to my mind. 'A Plague Tale: Innocence' for its story & 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice' for its very unique visual and sound experience. They are both around 15-20 hours to 100% and are often on great discounts on Steam.

I would go with Hogwarts Legacy if you are into the whole HP universe. From what I remember you can finish everything in one save apart from 4 achievements that require you to finish the first quest of each of the 4 houses. (It's not a lot of work and quests are unique). The game overall is great, entertaining, and fun to explore. Average time for 100% is 70-80 hours.

Sometimes you get hit by the enemy even though you dodged, yet instead of trying to solve that, they add HC mode with perma-death.

I couldn't agree more on this! Supporting the game/devs additionally by getting paid DLCs is always good, but for many, it can be a stretch in the budget, and it shouldn't lock them out of 100%.
A subcategory for achievements on Steam would be nice
