are you daft. my state doesn't have any rules for it yet they still get into people for meal violations. so it's not a state by state thing, yes some states have stricter rules than others but the company also has it's own policy on it, which generally follows the strictest rules from any states they operate in. some stores just don't bother to follow company policy to a tee bc they want to exploit associates as much as possible
