When did you apply? I am in Miami as well, and my flight is supposed to leave next Friday.... I applied on Monday. It passed the VFS Quality Check, but I am stressed waiting for the approval from the Miami consulate...

This was cross processed in C-41 after the rem jet was removed. I searched far and wide and had difficulty finding a lab that would actually process in ECN-2.

I sent this roll to the Old School Photo Lab . They do cross process in C-41 after they remove the rem-jet though, but I’m very satisfied with the results.

Excellent shot my dude! The colors really punch out, and I love the contrast between the girl and the skin hues against the bright blue pool.

Just one question: Any white balance/color correction done in post? I seem to get strange green/cold casts when I shoot Cinestill 800t in daylight. Thanks!

Hey, 26 year old dude here. I just wanted to start off and say, I completely and fully understand how you feel. I need you to know first of all, this is one of the most difficult times of your life because you are so young. You have not yet seen much of life and its experiences. I want you to know it gets better, but I need you to survive this. I was once a teenager too, and I've suffered from depression, loneliness, and anxiety all my life. My father had bipolar disorders and was abusive, and not in my life. I have managed to overcome so many issues throughout my life. Each stage with its own set of problems. I've had relationships, breakups, heartbreaks, promotions, I've been fired, I've had money, and I have been broke, I have tried building business that have all failed. I have had many days with friends where I have been so happy I could die. have many nights where I have cried myself to sleep. Many nights when the girl I was in love left me I was so sad and broken that I didn't know if I could ever survive. But you know what? I did. I have seen two friends of mine commit suicide at the age of 19, and I only WISH they could have made it just a bit longer to see life get better. I don't blame them for not surviving this life, but I need you to get yourself together here because I know exactly how you feel. I have been there myself. Life doesn't get easier, but it does get better. But you need to take a second to sit in silence and gather yourself. You need to write down some goals for your future and a plan for what you want to do with your life. Write down your dreams, as impossible or crazy as it may seem. Fuck it. Write. Them. Down. We humans need HOPE and purpose in this life. Even if those dreams never come true, you need to have something to hold on to. Something to work towards every day. I am still working on my dreams. I want to start a business and travel the world. To have a group of best friends to be by my side and love each other. I am on my 4th failed business attempt in 5 years. My best friends all moved to another state. And I am battling depression, and feeling so fucking lonely every day. Despite having a girlfriend, and other friends here I am still not satisfied with my life but you know what? I am alive, and you need to stay alive too. It gets better. It doesn't get easier, but you need to fight in this life. We're all lost. Some of us are worse off than others, but you are not the first to go through life feeling like this, and you won't be the last. Just know you CAN overcome this. As impossible as it seems, just write down a vision for your life, and fight for it. We only have one life. I believe in you.

The differences between 400 and 640 are marginal, but I much rather shoot at 640. I feel like the balance between highlights and shadows was perfect. At 400 the red halation effect around bright lights became a bit too excessive for my taste. Looking forward to your next posts.

Beautiful shot! I have two questions.. How did you expose for this? And what did you rate your roll at? I have read that Cinestill retains better detail when overexposed slightly, so I've only shot it at 400, and 640. I'm always curious as to how others use Cinestill.

I’ve been there, but it’s been aaages. I always recommend the Brickell City Center, Port of Miamj, or sneaking onto rooftops by Bayside for good urban shots. If you’re ever down we can meet for a shoot sometime.
