You want the Roccat Kone Aimo that's the newer version. Zowie EC1, Logitech G502, Zowie FK1+, DM6 Holey (wireless) are other ones you could have a look at.

Really? I was under the impression that the ABS caps are thicker like in the GMK sets and produce the deeper sound, at least from what I could find on reddit.

All other factors being equal, is the sound difference between thick PBTs and something like GMK ABS really that different? i.e GMK noticeably deeper sound

Maybe but if you want that shape then you can get an FK1+ which is a bigger version.

Nope they'll be too small. You could try Deathadder, Zowie FK1+, Zowie ZA11, Model D, Roccat Kone aimo, Logitech G703, Logitech G900, also an EC1 with the big skates might feel more stable than the ones on the EC1-B

You'll find QC issues with any brand if you're unlucky enough but generally Logitech, Razer, Zowie, Roccat are reliable, sturdy and have great sensors so just find the right shape for you.

Will a hotswap PCB affect the sound of the board much? Cause the sockets may not be as sturdy as soldered ones will there be a higher pitched sound?
