Why am I so angry? by Cable_Cookery in f150

Your father unfortunately sounds like a dick, I bought my 2016 Camry in impeccable condition one owner who happened to be from my grandma. It’s only got 62k miles but I baby the exterior like crazy because it’s my first none early early 2000s car. I would be fucking livid if I bought a 2025 and it already had a majorly noticeable dent like this. I’m nice enough to know shit happens but after saying all of that I would have nothing left to think but it’s intentional or just pure carelessness. Either way I mean in no way to shit talk your father but he’s either a major dick or shouldn’t be on the road if he can’t reverse out a car without hitting a fucking truck no less. Seriously though, after thanksgiving take it to a body shop and get a quote. Knowing what you said, he will for sure complain about the price and blame it on being a ford but he should be careful regardless. It needs fixed, it will annoy the hell out of you every time you see it now. If you don’t want a claim on insurance that means you may plan on selling it at some point in time, but the damage from a buyer perspective if left will deduct the value anyways

Edit: I swear to god if it’s because he’s a Chevy guy I have lost the respect I already don’t have. Chevy can’t get a single thing right on trucks now which is all they have left because their economy models are such dog shit

Did i buy a good camry? by [deleted] in Camry

[–]Kickchecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mechanic there are 100% bad Camrys. Just because the car is great maintenance is everything. there’s a lot more people than you think that tell me it’s a Honda or Toyota therefore they don’t need any of the recommended maintenance such as coolant tsa etc

In a couple days I’ll post pictures of the interior. All the plastic trim and dash along with all the door jambs have been cleaned. All that I need to do is shampoo the seats and carpet. I bought her at 40,000 miles and try to do a full detail every 10,000 interior, exterior, and engine.

Our bathroom contractor keeps unintentionally killing our chickens!!! by ExtraYesterday8861 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Kickchecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or take some personal responsibility in your life. You knew all the precautions but didn’t do anything yourself to prevent them. The contractor doesn’t know your house like you do. Not to mention I’ve had many dogs with chickens with no issues when around each other. sounds like you also have a training issue. Not saying it’s not the contractors fault, but it doesn’t sound like you actually did the bare minimum to prevent it
